Appearance:
Nimue has brown hair and brown eyes. She stands short atr five feet and a half an inch tall with a slight build. She is right handed. Similiar to her sister Enid, Nimue wears practical clothing in softer colours. When working however, she will wear darker colours to help mask any stains that might occur.
History:
- 1876 — Nimue is born the last girl and the second last child over all of the Glynn family.
- 1879 — Cadogan is born, completing the family as the ninth child. Which for Nimue does indeed include Gwyn whom she has never seen as anything else than another sister.
- 1882 — Nimue's first sign of magic finds her bringing down sweet treats her mother had hidden on a high shelf.
- 1887-88 — Nimue goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff. She has a lot of fun exploring the castle but is quick to gain a reputation for tumbling down the stairs or over her own robes. Potions classes with her are a disaster.
- 1888-90 — Nimue eventually develops a quiet little dream of becoming a healer. These dreams seem destined to not come to fruition when she does not attain a scholarship and so must therefore leave school after her third year.
- 1890-91 — Nimue spends the next few months trying to figure out what she should with her life. In the meantime, she helps out on the farm and at Smoke & Scale as a scullery maid.
- 1891-1892 — One of the resident healers of Avalon Glen offers to take Nimue under their wing and Nimue takes them up on it. She works under them for several months and learns some new skills. Eventually, her mentor tells her that they think Nimue should look into Mondragora Abbey.
- 1893 — Nimue joins the ranks of the Abbeys training midwives in August of 1893.
- 1895 — After eighteen months of training, she takes the final examinations for the first time in February 1895 - and fails. And thus she must do some repeat training. After three months of retraining, Nimue tries the examination for a second time in May of 1895. And fails again.
She is very frustrated but refuses to give up. She knows she can do this. If only she were not so horrible at formal test taking! Her next examination attempt is scheduled for the end of August 1895. She is determined to pass them this time. After all, third time's the charm!
Personality:
Nimue is a loyal and hard-working young woman that tackles life with enthusiasm and well-intent. She is spectacularly clumsy but she does her best not to let that hold her back. She is doing her best to achieve her dreams even if they are not in the original form she had envisioned.
