History:After outgrowing an extremely awkward childhood situation, Tenny has slimmed out and gained some more appealing angles. (Peep that sad excuse for facial hair thank you very much!) Athletic in build, he’s only achieved a height of 5’5”, but hopes to at least get a few more inches by the time he graduates. Ten takes more after his mother than father in appearance (thank goodness), as his father has that somewhat fair look of a man whose ethnicity has been watered down. His mother’s Punjabi ancestry is strong in the children and they all have dark hair and eyes, set beneath heavy brows. As a teen who spends a lot of time outside, his naturally tanned skin stays darker thanks to the constant sun exposure, but nobody would notice, save for his family. His expressions are eager and written all over his face. His smirk is legendary and it often means he is up to something he shouldn’t be. There is a charm to him that he exudes in spades, but whether it works or not is up for debate. He smiles often and easily. His clothing is often in disarray from running around outside or flying, but he hardly cares. He is right-handed for wandwork and writing.
Personality:
1878 Tennyson joins the family in an uneventful birth. He’s a clingy infant, always wanting attention and to be held, rarely napping and constantly eating. Childhood
1879-1890Two sisters are added to the brood, Lydia and Astoria and frankly Tenny isn’t all that interested until they’re old enough to play. A first act of magic comes when Ten is off playing with friends. During a game of hide and seek, Ten accidentally makes himself invisible while hiding and it takes quite a few perplexed Accidental Magical Reversal Squad members to get him visible again. Wendell goes off to Hogwarts and Tennyson is jealous. He can’t wait for his turn. His education is at his mother's insistence and she tries to instill her love of reading into her children, it just doesn't go as well with Tennyson (despite being named after a poet.) First Year
1890 - 1891Damn late birthdays. It doesn’t take long for Ten to be sorted into Gryffindor. It’s what he had been hoping for at any rate. The social side of school comes easily and Tenny makes friends easily, he’s a little awkward but funny. Academics take him longer to find his stride. He’s good at Transfiguration and Herbology, but the rest are more of a chore. Second Year
1891 - 1892Second year passes much as the first, but Ten is much more comfortable and therefore goofs off even more. A dangerously low score on his History of Magic midterm sees disapproval from home and he buckles down a little for the rest of the year. Third Year
1892 - 1893Ten adds Care of Magical Creatures for an elective because duh. This year he tries out for quidditch and fails miserably. It’s a blow to the ego, but he takes Club Quidditch a little more seriously and puts some effort into improving his skills. 1893 - 1894

Tenny is energy incarnate. He has plenty of it and he never knows how to use it, except to keep going and going and going. Smug and loud, he rarely utilizes an off switch, unless he’s sleeping, of which he does a lot of, soundly, mind you. Adventurous to a fault, Ten probably puts more effort into fooling around than he does into academics, but he isn't terrible at them, he just doesn’t put much focus into them. It could be a lot better. He will never say no to a dare or toeing the line of consequences. He enjoys athletics immensely and is good enough at them to have a chip on his shoulder. He does put effort into Quidditch and making the team was quite the unnecessary ego boostnever mind that it was in his fifth year. He’s happy to be the handsome jock, lbr. He’s just wants to be the Troy Bolton of Hogwarts.
