Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

May 4th, 1894 — Hufflepuff Common Room, afternoon

Eugenia really despised Astronomy and was genuinely looking forward to dropping the class come fall.

Since her first year, Eugenia had been the worst student in her class in Astronomy, intentionally avoiding answering questions unless pointedly asked by the professor to avoid losing house points for how egregious she knew her answers to be. And yet here she was, sitting with a half-finished star chart spread across one of the tables in the common room and her textbook open before her, trying desperately to get something right so she didn't earn a T on her OWLs in the course.

At this point it was basically a given, but alas, she was trying.

Of course, she was making the horrible mistake of hovering over the star chart with her quill, muttering to herself as she tried desperately to find something. And then she proceeded to move too quickly, leaving a spot of black ink behind. Now, as a young lady, she knew better than to swear. Thus, she bit her tongue for a moment, before muttering, "Oh, no." She really didn't want to start over, even though she was quite sure she had half of what she'd done wrong, anyway.

There was a lightness, Rex thought, to being in sixth year. Oh, his examinations were still importnant, of course, but after the all-consuming horror of last year's Ordinary Wizarding Levels, the Hufflepuff felt as though he comparatively had not a care in the world as he prepared for the end of year's exams. He would enjoy it while he could: the Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests Rex would face next year, he had been told, truly lived up to their name.

It was unfortunate that he did not have quidditch to fill this extra time—Hufflepuff was decidedly out of the running for quidditch cup—but had been able to spend more time with Sirius, Nico, and Flora, who were likewise blessed with a lighter examination year. He had, however, elected to study in the common room today, as he was the only one of their quartet with Ghoul Studies to revise for.

Oh no.

The words were spoken softly enough that, had he been properly engrossed in his studies, the sixth year might have missed them, but Rex's mind had been allowed to wander, and the fifth year's plight—whatever it was—had been enough to re-ground him.

"Is everything alright, Miss Bramer?" Rex asked.
