Did You Know?
Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

February 3, 1894 - Gryffindor Tower

The midmorning sun poured through the tall windows of the Gryffindor common room onto Sisse's favorite set of couches. Over the past years she had spent countless hours sitting with her friends here and even now that there were so few of them left in the Gryffindor tower it was still a favorite haunt of her's.

"Allie!" Sisse called, catching sight of her friend as she looked up from her sketchpad. She waved her friend over with a smile. "I just finished this sketch." Sisse explained at Alcyone's approach, during it around so Allie could see the gown she had drawn. The gown she was hoping that Alcyone would want to wear for their debut in May. She'd mentioned she'd like to design one for Allie, but she hadn't told her friend that she'd actually been working on one - this one in particular. She'd had ideas in her head for each girl for years, but with life changing and fashion changing the ideas that had been so clear once had smudged when put to paper. They just didn't capture the essence of each girl the way she wanted them too. She had been confident after designing the dress for Calla (which she'd almost finished sewing) but she'd stumbled at each attempt. She had pulled out sketches she'd been making for years, looking over what she'd originally felt would work and now they all looked dated and bleached. Like memories that had begun to fade. And Sisse wanted nothing faded on her friends on the night they would face the world together.

"What do you think?" She asked brightly, knowing she could trust her friend to give her an honest opinion. She didn't need to know it was for her, in fact she'd be more candid if she didn't. But after years of showing her friends sketches she knew that she could count on them to give her the exacting advice and opinions she sought.

Alcyone had been to breakfast late and had been waylaid by friends in other houses on her journey back to the Gryffindor common room. As she moved through the Gryffindor common room, she heard her name being called by Sisse. Immediately looking towards the cluster of couches that they all usually sat on, she spotted Sisse.

She walked over, noting the sketchpad in her friends hands. "Oh!" She said in awe as she peered out the drawing of a dress. "It's so lovely. Is this going to be a Coming Out Ball gown?" Alcyone asked. She knew Sisse had been speaking of designing one for her but it didn't enter her mind that this was the one meant for her.

Sisse's scanned her friend's face, taking in the look of joy that crossed when she glanced at the gown. "Yes, what do you think?" The gown was the beautiful color of a softly blushing rose that would bring out the red highlights that shone in Allie's hair when they were in the sunlight. She rather suspected the color would allow the candlelight at the ball to have the same effect. The skirt flared slightly but a train wrapped around it, a looking as if the top layer had been pulled aside, edged in rose colored organza. The under half of the skirt was a lighter pink with a lace the same color creating layers. To Sisse it reminded her of a lady gathering her skirts to the side to fly on a broom, as if her friend were ready to soar into action in the skies with their house quidditch team. The bodice was simple with a darker color at the neckline that layered into the puffed sleeves that she had left ungathered, allowing for movement and accenting Allie's graceful arms. She had placed a bit of lace down the middle of each sleeve to tie in the organza, in part this was to create another homage to Allie's position on the quidditch field, but as a seamstress it also allowed her to use the last of the organza that would be needed so nothing would go to waste, not to mention that it tied all the colors in perfectly.

"I had thought to add a flower here," Sisse gestured at the edge of the edge of the collarbone next to the shoulder seam, "But I'm worried it will take away from the sleek lines of the gown." And then before she could stop herself, her words continued to spill out, "It reminds me of taking flight onto the quidditch field. How you all move aside your flying cloaks to mount, and then the wind blowing out your sleeves." Her hand gestured over each spot of the sketch as she mentioned it, barely leashed excitement wrapping around her words.

Here is the inspiration for the gown
