A thread to chat about who is attending this event and find interesting pairings for your characters! The masks are all available in the entryway and there's no one directing which one you should take, so it's possible people who arrived together might decide to grab the same mask from the collection and be paired together but it's equally likely they might be paired with a stranger.

Remember mourning restrictions if you had a loved one perish in the dragon attacks! If you lost a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or grandparent you shouldn't be attending society events yet. If you lost an aunt/uncle/niece/nephew/cousin you could but you're on the cusp of respectability there so people might trash talk you for being gauche and insensitive. Be warned.

Correct! Any time you see "society types" or similar in an event you should assume it's for those out in society and active in society, which by definition means not in school.

Here are some more specific pairing desires for me:
- Ned with a married woman

- Juliana with someone she doesn't currently know (or know well) but could end up being friends or enemies with lol. Like a new relationship speed run. If you've ever looked at her and thought "huh her and X would be... interesting," then them.

- Ford with someone he can faun over during the party but whom he finds annoying once the magic wears off (male or female, faun used here in its broadest and not exclusively romantic sense)

Someone with some authority might override me on this because I haven't played a professor in actual years but I've always thought professors could leave the grounds when they weren't teaching so long as they didn't all leave. Like there's probably a handful "on duty" on any given day that aren't allowed to do things, but the others could.
