Birthdate: September 14, 1857
Current Age: Thirty Years
Occupation: Socialite
Reputation: 10
Gossip has circulated about her husband being a bit awkward in social situations, but nothing that's been directly tied to her. She personally is a fabulous hostess and socialite, than you very much.
Residence: London, England
Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff Alumna ('76)
Wand: Hawthorn, 11 inches, Unicorn hair, Rigid
Blood Status: Pureblood
Social Class: Upper Class
Family:
Denton Crabbe, Husband [1852]
Her betrothed since she was seven, and her husband since age eighteen, Denton has always been better suited for a friend than a lover. This is in part due to Denton's preferences, which Livia decided long ago were better to acknowledge and support rather than ignore. Their marriage is a supportive and transparent one, though certainly not romantic-based. They've only shared their marriage bed as many times as they've tried to produce spawn, and that's alright — it keeps things from being weird.

    ☛ Dawson Crabbe, Son [1877]
    ☛ Davinia Crabbe, Daughter [1880]

Victor Yaxley, Father [1830]
Bethany Yaxley (née -----), Mother [1838]
Gregory Yaxley, Brother [1858]
Elizabeth ----- (née Yaxley), Sister [1861]
Natalie ----- (née Yaxley), Sister [1863]
Kenton Yaxley, Brother [1867]
Appearance:
While not excessively pretty as to attract unwanted attention, she by no means could be considered ugly. She stands at a tall, yet not exceedingly so five feet, three inches tall and has a body that society would consider healthy, curvaceous, and well-proportioned. Pregnancy has brought broader hips and a larger bosom — two traits that she longed for as a younger debutante — and her stomach is much softer, but not rounded.

Her hair has never been her best feature, in part due to its natural flatness that requires constant pulling, teasing, and hair potions to keep perfect. Its color ranges from golden blonde to dark blonde (she prefers others refer to it as the former for the appeal). Her eyes are arguably her more notable feature with their almond shape, green hue, small pupils, and the thick, neatly-groomed brows that frame them.

Her outfits always align with the current fashions, but she's always preferred to wait for others to set trends rather than make risky choices herself. She has never been quiet about her distaste of flamboyant accessories or heavily-patterned fabrics, with her firmly believing they overwhelm the eyes. She wields her wand with her left hand, but, like any woman of good breeding, has been taught with her right as well.
History:
1857 | The morning of September 14th marks the birth of Livia Irmalinda Yaxley, the firstborn daughter and child to her parents. Though originally intended to be named Lavinia, her mother's exhausted state prompts her to refer to her newborn as Livia; it catches on, even making its way onto her birth certificate.

1858 | The birth of Gregory Yaxley, the firstborn son, usurps her birth as the most celebrated day in the household. Livia, at less than a year old, does not have enough situational awareness to care.

1861 | Another daughter, Elizabeth, is born into the family, and (almost? already?) four-year-old Livia is unimpressed by the addition to the household. She does see her new baby sister as a viable candidate for a future playmate, but she's absolutely useless for the time being. Oh well.

1862 | Her first sign of magic makes an appearance!

1863 | For some reason, her mother seems to like the idea of bringing more female infants into the household. This one's name is Natalie (an absolutely atrocious name, she thinks!) and is exceedingly more boring than the previous baby. By this point, Livia's education in the basics of reading, writing, feminine arts — everything she'll need to succeed in life — is in full force.

1864 | Seven-year-old Livia is betrothed to Denton Crabbe, a boy not but five years her senior.

1867 | Another baby is born, and Livia is actually pleased to learn that this one is a boy. At least Gregory will have someone to entertain him, and she won't have yet another sister to be compared to later in life.

1869 | Hogwarts time! When September rolls around, the hat takes little time before sorting her into Hufflepuff. She's at first a little disappointed — all the other houses have more interesting reputations than Hufflepuff — but she finds that she fits in fairly well! While she does make new friends, her closest friends remain the ones she played with throughout her childhood. Her favorite classes prove to be Herbology and Astronomy, with her least favorite being Defence Against the Dark Arts.

1871 | Divination and Earth magic are added to her course load.

1873 | Livia is appointed Hufflepuff prefect, marking a wonderful start to her fifth year!

1874 | Livia takes her OWLs, scoring no less than an A on every subject. However, never having been overly ambitious with her education, she chooses only four classes to continue her education with: Astronomy, Charms, Herbology, and Transfiguration.

Summer, 1876 | Livia's family forgoes the prospect of having her debut at the Hogwarts Coming Out Ball in May, preferring a much more private affair in June. Shortly after, she is wedded to her betrothed and becomes Mrs. Livia Crabbe. While she had few expectations for her marriage (which she had already figured would be loveless based on their interactions), she is surprised by how disappointed she feels when Denton makes no effort to consummate their marriage on their wedding night. She says she's upset about his supposed lack of desire for children, but she knows deep down that she wants to feel desired as a woman.

Autumn, 1876 | Months of prying into her husband's personal life leads her to the conclusion that Denton "swings the other way". While at first scandalized by the revelation, the utter panic and dread on her husband's face after he finds out she knows pulls at her heartstrings. While she doesn't necessarily encourage (or even acknowledge) it at times, she makes it known that she'll be silent — but only after he agrees to try for a child. Within a month, she falls pregnant with their first child.

1877 | In late August, Livia delivers her first child, and a boy, too! She names him Dawson and decides that all their future children — she says with a pointed glance at her husband — will have names that start with the letter D. While she completely forgoes motherly duties such as a feeding, she does take time to rock and play with him when bored. She suggests trying for another child, but Denton shuts the idea down.

1879 | After years of being unable to convince her husband to share a bed with her once more, she defiantly takes a lover, and right within the sight of her husband. She hopes to prompt something — jealousy, anger, possessiveness, anything — but doesn't receive anything more than a deadpan expression, a flabbergasted "really, Liv?", and the insinuation that she's a horn dog or something. Sadly, that union results in her second pregnancy (#whoops), prompting passive aggressive remarks for the duration of the pregnancy.

1880 | At the beginning of the year, Livia delivers a perfectly healthy baby girl... who fortunately carries most of her mother's genes. She's given the name "Davinia" — a subtle play on the name her mother intended to giver her a newborn. Now with two children to entertain her, she leaves her husband alone. That is, at least, until her husband storms into her bedroom later in the year (how rude!) and demands he share the bed for the evening. While she doesn't hesitate to comply, he gets teary-eyed halfway through and she suspects something's happened between him and one of his lovers. While they do complete the act, she spends the next hour and a half trying to comfort him without the full knowledge of what's gone down.

1881 | Surprise, she's pregnant! Fully knowing that she hasn't bedded anyone besides her husband since the last time they've spent the night together, she makes the declaration that she's expecting with a bright smile and her head held high. She gives birth halfway through the year, and christens her new daughter Demetria.

1883 | Amortentia-tainted tea causes Livia and her husband to temporarily fall in love with each other (how scandalous, I know!) and end up sharing their marriage bed once more, resulting in a fairly rocky pregnancy. When Livia isn't feeling sick to her stomach, she suffers various pains and even has few miscarriage scares earlier in the pregnancy. Luckily, nothing proves fatal to mother or fetus.

1884 | Livia delivers another girl, which is a bit disappointing after she noticed a glimmer of hope in her husband's eyes that it would be a second son. At least Denton seems to take an interest in their newborn daughter's health and well-being, something he seemed to ignore with their first two daughters (well, Davinia wasn't actually his so that would explain that case). After a few hours of pondering on baby names with her lady's maid, Livia decides to name her Diana, which is pretty enough and has its roots in mythology.

1885 | Her brother — her younger brother, which in itself is a sobering fact — gets married to his betrothed, and it doesn't take long until Livia decides she doesn't like her. There's something shady about the young woman (but not necessarily a criminal sort of shady). Phoebe Greengrass, now Phoebe Yaxley, seems to treat Livia's brother as disposable, which Protective Older Sister™ Livia doesn't really like. She urges her brother to cement his place as the man of the household, but he seems uninterested in the ways of his wife.

Spring, 1886 | After coming home one evening, Livia enters her husband's bedroom without his permission with the intention of declaring how awful her day was, only to find him "rolling in the hay" with another gentleman. While nothing really comes of it (a few awkward glances afterwards solidified they'd never speak of it), Livia side-eyes any two gentleman conversing in a public place for the next sixth months.

1887 | Livia glances at her calendar every now and then, noting that her younger brother has been married for years now without any sign of child! Paranoid as ever, she begins suspecting (solely out of disliking for her sister-in-law) that measures are being taken by Phoebe to prevent conception.
Personality:
SOCIABLE. WHISPERING GOSSIP. PLEASANT. SOCIALLY-CONSCIOUS. PERCEPTIVE. PRONE TO MAKING ASSUMPTIONS. HARDWORKING. AFFECTIONATE.

While not especially manipulative, "assertive" is certainly a term that could be used to describe her. She's never been a doormat and knows her worth, even if she's not inclined to boast of it to others. She believes in justice — even if her sense of justice is warped from preconceived notions and prejudice — and believes that hard work can solve any poor circumstances in life. She believes that those who are poor and complain about it are lazy and undisciplined, and for that reason, she tends to have a more favorable view of social climbers who earn their way to the top more compared to other "old money" folks.

When not silently judging the less fortunate for their choices, she enjoys socializing and surrounding herself with people she considers her equals. She's not the sort to socialize outside of the bubble she's been placed in since childhood, with many of her closest friends having crawled beside her as toddlers! She keeps a close-knit group of friends and an even larger group of acquaintances.

A life of privilege is bound to come with a sense of entitlement, but Livia has never been particularly catty or haughty when socializing with social lessers. For her, being liked is far more rewarding than being powerful, and a particularly negative rumor or Witch Weekly article has the potential to crush her self-esteem.
