My Dearest, Miss Lucille Flint
You are the flame in my heart and though we have spoken very little before now, my heart is filled with you. Oh, please say that you will reserve your first dance for me? Better yet, please say that I may gaze upon your pretty face soon. I shall simply wither away if I am apart from you for any longer!

Your devoted servant,
Richard Gladstone

My Dearest Mr. Gladstone,

I can not begin to explain how completely and divinely happy your letter has made me. I feel as if I could float away from the very ground if there were nothing to hold on to me. The first dance would not be enough for me, I would wish to spend the entirely of my dances wrapped in your adoring embrace, knowing it is you who is holding me.

Tomorrow, indeed today, would not be soon enough to end this divide of space between us. Alas, my mother is ill and I am unable to come to your side today. If I were you need only name a place and a time and I shall wait for you at the world's end if I must for I know, you, my knight in shining armor, would arrive to me.

With all my love,
Miss Lucille Flint

You need only say the word and I will be by your side! Oh, how terrible of me. I do not even know where you live? Surely, you are an angel upon the earth but I do not know where such would reside.

Your devoted servant,
Richard Gladstone

My dearest Mr. Gladstone,

Even angels have homes, my dearest, although such a thing seems so small to keep us apart. Flint Manor will always have its doors open to greet you, my Prince Charming.

Mother has just retired for the afternoon to rest, I do not believe I can wait another moment to see you. But wait I must. At least until you can put me out of my agony by writing back with a place to meet. I won’t be missed here, rest assured. Please, respond as soon as possible so I might end this hopeless waiting.

With all my love,
Lucille Flint

My dearest Mr. Gladstone,

I shall not keep you waiting any longer. You shall find me by Florteseau’s at four this afternoon in Diagon Alley.

With all my love,
Lucille Flint
