Flo has aged well, at least she thinks so. She’s maintained her slender figure over the years despite the birth of her children. She stands at 5 feet and 4 inches and almost looks taller when she is angry. She has fiery red hair and chestnut brown eyes set against creamy white skin. Unlike many of her siblings she does not freckle, although this is likely because she stays out of the sun rather than doesn’t have the propensity for it. Because she has standing in society she tries to keep up with both the latest muggle and wizarding fashions, more often than not she is wearing muggle gowns. Her wand hand is her right hand.

History:
1841: Florence is the second daughter and third child born into the O’Sullivan family. A loud and jovial family this child fits right in with her loud bursts of laughter and louder cries of tears. Their home is never silent.
1843: Her mother gives birth to a second son. Florence barely notices his presence in the bustling home but her older sister coos over him like he is her own.
1844: Her mother gives birth to twin girls early in the year, only one survives the first year. The family makes the best of it, Flo is too little to really understand the loss.
1845-1846: Florence enjoys her childhood and spends much of her time romping around with her siblings outside.
1847: Six year old Florence displays her first sign of magic when during a game of blind man’s bluff she jumps for a tree and ends up high in its branches to avoid being caught. Her older brother attends Hogwarts. Florence’s mother includes Flo in daily lessons.
1848: Her older sister attends Hogwarts while she misses her sister she doesn’t mind the lack of bossing around that comes from this and begins to take on more of a bossy older sister role with her younger siblings.
1852-1853: It is finally Flo’s turn to attend Hogwarts. Her school year kicks off well when Flo is sorted into Gryffindor with no hesitation from the Sorting Hat. Flo meets Sterling Jewell and they become instant friends despite the fact that he’s a few years older.
1853-1854: Flo shows herself to be a bright student during her second year and has no problem making friends.
1854-1855: She adds Arithmancy and Earth Magic to her schedule in her third year.
1855-1856: Fourth year, Flo begins to realize that she has a crush on Sterling.
1856-1857: Sterling admits he also has feelings for Flo, unfortunately it’s his seventh year. OWLS go better than expected or anticipated.
1857-1858: Sixth year Flo drops: DADA, Earth Magic, Transfiguration, and History of Magic. She misses Sterling at school and writes him almost daily.
1858-1859: She finally reaches her final year! Sterling promises that after she debuts they will begin courting.

1859: After graduation Florence debuts. A week later Sterling asks her father for permission to court her. Florence is glad to have her best friend back. Whirlwind romance the two are married by the end of the year.
1860: Her first son Hennessy is born. Florence takes to mother instantly and dotes on her son.
1862: The couple’s second son Jameson is born early and causes a bit of excitement with his arrival..
1863: Early in 1863 Flo suffers her first miscarriage. Under the advice of a friend she pushes her grief to the side and makes more appearances in the social world.
1864: Flo thrives in the social world and is seen more and more as the season goes on.
1865: Their first daughter Madeira is born. Flo dotes on her young daughter but continues to run a loving and tightship for her family.
1866-1867: Flo likes to keep busy and as such invests much of her time in her family, the business, and her social circles. Her husband begins to introduce new flavors of Firewhiskey and names one after her.
1868: Their second daughter, Julep, is born.
1870: Their youngest child, Sherry, is born. Jameson shows his first display of magic by turning his toy animals to life. It takes a month for the family to finally be rid of the animals.
1871: Hennessy goes to Hogwarts, Madeira shows her first signs of magic by the ensuing tantrum of her eldest brother leaving. Fire is everywhere until Flo is able to calm the child. Sterling is inspired and creates a second flavor of firewhiskey. Florence misses Hennessy fiercely but shows a strong face to her family and the world. To help keep her busy she begins to help Sterling balance the books for the business.
1872: Florence gives birth to a stillborn son. The healers tell her she is unlikely to be able to bear any more children.
1873: Jameson leaves for Hogwarts.
1874: Sterling introduces yet another flavor of firewhiskey, it is more successful than the previous two.
1876: It is Maderia’s turn to attend Hogwarts, Flo adjusts to the emptying house by helping Sterling more and more with the business.
1877: Worried about their family with the muggle riots Flo and Sterling decide to take measures to ensure their family’s safety. They relocate the shop portion of the distillery to Diagon Alley and take up factory space in magical London with extreme cloaking measures to continue business.
1879: Hennessy graduates from Hogwarts and returning home to help with the family business. The fall sees Julep heading to Hogwarts.
1880: Jameson graduates from Hogwarts and also returns to work at the family business. It is because of them that the business branches into ales.
1882: Sherry heads to Hogwarts. When she comes home on break she surprises the family by giving Sterling an idea for the business’s next flavored whiskey.
1883: Maderia graduates from Hogwarts and debuts.
1884: Maderia surprises everyone, and relieves Flo of her worries, when she accepts a marriage proposal. The young couple is married by the end of the season.
1885: Hennessy starts to court a nice young lady. Flo approves of the young lady and is happy with the match.
1886: Julep graduates from Hogwarts and debuts. She returns home and helps with the business by designing labels and items for the shop. Henney proposes to his young lady. Flo finds herself glad to have her children closer around her, even if the boys are often off adventuring and Maderia is happily married.
1887: The success of the family business sees Sterling and Flo purchasing a storefront in Hogsmeade.
1888: After renovations are made to the storefront the Hogsmeade shop is finally opened. Henney and Jamey purchase a home in Bartonburg to be closer to it and Flo frets about the distance although she won’t admit to it. She is grateful to have JuJu home with her, knowing that in a few years all her children will likely have homes of their own.
Personality: Flo is sweet and kind to almost everyone. But she is a force to reckoned with when angered, generally this comes from one of her kin being harmed, putting themselves into danger, etc. This comes from her fierce protection and love of her family. She is also incredibly pragmatic and perceptive and keeps a tight ship on her kin and their fiances. She’s not beyond meddling in her children’s affairs, especially now that they are old enough to live their own lives, but she is well meaning and only wants what is best for them.
