Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1894. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.
Chuntao considers sending three separate letters, but he's too excited to be at Hogwarts that he pens a single one all of the Changs.

Father, Longwei and Ai-Mei,
We're just settling in for the night, but I wanted to be the first to tell you I was sorted into Ravenclaw. You were right Longwei. And Ida, I get to steal all your scarves when I see you at Christmas to wear.
Everyone I've met is in Gryffindor though, but at least they're not house rivals.
Congratulations! We would have been proud of any house that you ended up a member of any house but we are all the more thrilled that you are also a Ravenclaw. First stop Hogwarts - next stop Minister of Magic.
I've included a small gift to celebrate this new chapter of your life. I'm sure father and Ida will both write their congratulations separately, but I'm sure that I speak for them when I say we are incredibly proud of you.
With Brotherly affection,
Longwei
included is a blue and silver enamel ravenclaw tie pin, and waistcoat albert and fob
Thank you so much for everything! I love it. I will wear everything every day and when I see it, I will think of you. I'm not sure about the Minister of Magic, but I promise I'll try as hard as I can to make you guys super proud.
His brothers note made him chuckle, and although Longwei would like to think himself a bright man, he doubted that anyone in Hogwarts would have remembered him as any great wit or member of the inteligencia, he had not been there long enough to make that sort of impression. Still he wouldn't bet against his little brother in proving his claim, nor indeed would he bet against Ida in protecting her own reputation.
I won't tell Ida you said that, lest she send you dung bombs in the post!
