Family business of hostlers for magical equines inc. thestrals inc hoof care etc. Do they adopt orphans who had witnessed parental death? Or do they "convienently" arrange for death to be witnessed...

A ghost and vampire who are best friends or lovers and have been for centuries.

Many options apply.

Like they couldve gone through Hogwarts together at the same age and when the ghost died and came back the vampire chose to become a vampire to not be parted from them.

Or the human brefriended a ghost, fell in love, and then didnt want to have the ghost watch them grow old and became a vampire or noticing the ghosts saddness at everyone they love growing old and dying chose to change.

Or they were both killed by a vampire

A curse breaker who thinks cursed objects are really cool and collects them in his spare room a la the Warrens. Recently graduated Hogwarts students regularly break into his house as a hazing ritual and he has to be like "no srsly guys these are dangerous, please put my beloved shrunken head back!"

Not really as much a character idea as just an extremely unfeasible and unmanageable idea I had while re-reading the rules;

a player playing their allowed 50 maximum characters, and they're, somehow, all worked into eachother's backstory. Not necessarily related - could be just friends, enemies, old lovers, former classmates, co-workers, whatever, there just has to be some sort of relation. Bonus points if you find a way to reference at least a few of them in every IC post with each of them. It would definitely be a hell of a way to IC network, though.

  

A Seer who gets irritated when people don't do what they "should" do and tries to manipulate them into fulfilling the destiny they've Seen. So, the opposite of any Seer who tries to use their power to help people/change the future.

........ I just started watching Second Chance: Gymnastic Academy (... I wanted to watch 1899 but er- it's not kid appropriate and it was the show the kids choose). The story goes that all the girls are there on a 3 month trial to compete for a limited number of scholarships and in true catty fashion there is sabotage, mind games and cliquey jealousy.... which is fun?

So that could be a fun school based plotline, especially for students competing for Hogwarts scholarships (especially for those who are financially challenged) ; but in general for better paid positions or coveted internships.

I'm watching the version of Cinderella that has Whoopi Goldberg and Brandy and the full names of the royal family makes me want there to be a Charming family with a ridiculous number of names.

To give you even more of an idea the names in the movie were:

Princes name was Christopher Rupert Windemere Vladimir Karl Alexander François Reginald Launcelot Herman Gregory James
Queens name was Constantina Charlotte Ermintrude Gwinyvere Maisie Mazie Marguerite Anne

A hurlable character who "falls in love" really easily but then also has a very long list of disqualifiers. Never gets past a second interaction with someone before they've decided they're trash. Keeps a journal (or writes a friend) with their detailed opinions.

We all have those shows from your childhood that you love and have fond memories of, but now upon re-watching, you see there's actually a fair amount of problems with it since it was from a time where values were different, so you just might rewatch for nostalgic purposes from time to time. Bewitched is one of those shows for me, but I've always loved the dynamic between Samantha, Darren and Endora.

So, naturally I'm fighting the urge to have a witch fall in love with a muggle man, and see them encounter the witch's mother whose ideas about muggles are that they're just stupid, but not to the point where she'd try and like...off him xDD

Because I referenced it at work and an idea popped up.

A widowed mother with a deb daughter is portraying herself as a "cool" mum as she attempts to both marry herself and her daughter off. Her daughter thinks she's soooo embarrassing because her mother is continually using her as an excuse to go to debutante events and then flirting with every eligible man, no matter suitor age or eligibility (Mum isn't afraid of putting her own needs first/being a cougar/snatching her daughters suitors) and consistently ruins her chances.

[[If anybody wants to play the mum I could so be talked into this. Flirting is a weakness for me however I love me some family drama antagonism]]

Sultry vampire lady who finds all her victims through the Lonely Hearts section in Witch Weekly and is also so obvious about it it's honestly the guys' own fault for walking into it. "Porcelain-skinned woman of an advanced age (but still in very good health) seeks man willing to completely devote himself to her. Somewhat of a night owl and rather a recluse, which is ideally not a problem for the man in question. Hates the sun. Reply to this advertisement writing to 'Sanguine' if interested."

  

I've currently got a ton of ideas raging through my head (woohoo sleep deprivation combined with coffee and new meds) but one of my current fascinations is Dante's Treasure Island Plot:

This plot bunny however doesn't work for me for various reasons but:
-> Woman who masqueraded using magic and polyjuice (ehh fuzzy on those details) as a man working her way up and ranking in the navy/merchant circuit and passing the required exams as a man only for the plan to have fallen apart and her identity discovered. Whoops.
