On Saturday, July 24th, YOU could be this cool! That's right, the HWI is hosting a Wizard's Chess Tournament. While it is intended to allow MC/UC women to show off their intellectual side, the official entry rules did not actually say this, and the person in charge of this particular event delegated and so it wasn't caught until it was too late—FOR THEM, not for you!
THE DETAILS
- There are two brackets, 10-16 and 17+
- The entry fee is 1s for the junior bracket and 3s for the senior bracket.
- The winner takes half the pot for their bracket, with the remainder being donated to the St Mungo's Home for Inconvenient Children
- Matches will not be formally played out. Instead, outcomes will be laid out in advance and players will have the option threadding them out to interact with a wider variety of characters.
- Signups close on Sunday, July 18th.
THREADED MATCHES COUNT AS ROULETTE THREADS! There are four Thread Roulette stamps available for those who participate and complete their roulette threads! To qualify for the stamp, threads must be ten posts long at least, three of those posts being your own, and it must be concluded and archived. To claim it, please post in the Stamp Station. Roulette is a Camp Charming OOC event!
