Hogsmeade residents and local travelers alike are cautioned to be vigilant with the use of magic in the coming weeks: a muggle archaeologist has set up shop just one mile southwest of the village, and reports say he will remain for some time.

The dig is to be led by a Mr. Elliot Waft with approximately a dozen men—and two women!—in the company. The Hogsmeade Constabulary warns witch and wizard alike not to give in to their curiosity and interfere with the work.

"If we ignore them," a representative said, "they will go away."
