Even in her moping, Anne knew when she was being mocked. Granted, this was Millie, and Millie could get away with murder, in Anne's eyes. She smirked into the hardwood table beneath her forehead; that smirk turned to a scowl as Anne realized she may have left an imprint of the bloody table on her face. Good work there, Moony. Job bloody well done.
Sitting up and sticking her tongue out as she rubbed her forehead, Anne was still gloating. If anyone asked, Millie agreed before Anne injured herself while studying. Then again, the people Anne would admit this to were limited, the images of Greta, Antelope, and Hunter coming to mind.
"I'm always right." Anne offered with a grin as she let Millie tuck her hair behind her ear. She sat up until Millie's gentle petting, a fussy cat, for all of thirty seconds.
"Oy! I was going to make you my partner! And of course, you're going to speak for me. If you decide you're going to join me, I suggest we work on your transfiguration before graduation. I refuse to sing Hunter's bloody praises to him on a daily basis in front of the wider public." Anne's grin went feral, but, in true Anne fashion, she went silent and scanned the vicinity for intruders. Anne loved to poke at Millie, but it was her Millie. She wasn't going to endanger her best friend's reputation.
"Tell me, Mills. Would kissing Mister Hunter still count as keeping the leaf in your mouth for a month? I'm not clear on that detail." Even as she said it, Anne braced for impact.
