for GEORGE
Welcome to your seduction ;) Before we get started, I do have a few policies regarding my adoptables:
Show
- Please reserve your character with me before apping!
- Obviously, I'd prefer activity from anyone to take these on XD
- I'll give you two weeks after loosing a character in an AC before I put them back up for grabs! If you drop them via Maintenance, they become immediately available again. If you just want to temp drop them, talk to me first! :)
- Anyone picking up one of my ads must include the family and personality sections. I provide the family in all my applications so just mentioning the names is quite fine by me. Personality can be as minimal as three basic traits, just so I know for sure that our ideas of the character mesh.
If you have any questions about any of the characters below, fire off a PM to
Aldous Crouch, catch me on skype, or stalk me in the cbox ;)
"LUCY"
B. 1872-1875 | MCHB/MCPB | NOT RAVENCLAW | DMLE (SEE BELOW)
"Lucy" left school after her father's passing in her fifth year. After all, she was only ever going to marry and be a wife and mother—just like her own mother. The eldest girl of at least three, though with a twin brother, "Lucy" has always had a strong sense of duty and been the more responsible sort. This is in particular contrast to her brother, who fucked off to Greece with all the family money. With a Mr. Collins-esque cousin—next to inherit—breathing down the family's necks, "Lucy" felt as though she had two options: marry him (ew), or pull an Amanda Bynes in She's the Man and pretend to be her twin. She chose the latter.
She took a job as an intern in the DMLE in 1893, where she met George Waterford (they did not have much overlap at school). George seemed to pay her particular interest—which struck Lucy as incredibly odd, given that she was ostensibly a man. After about a month of this behaviour, though, George revealed her secret and awkwardly corrected a couple of lapses that Lucy had been making in her efforts to "be" her brother. It wasn't only their shared secret and their shared profession, though: the two genuinely got on, and were fast friends. George (as Georgia Montgomery) even very occasionally goes out and about with Lucy and her sisters.
Her (his? their?) feelings on gender are wide open. As far as George knows, "Lucy" is just playing at being a man to help her family. This may well be the case, but she could also she's more fluid or trans—whatever works for you! She is currently either a second year Ministry intern, a generic employee, or a first year clerk (if going into Law). Ethnicity and face are wide open; pictured is Liv Hewson.
