The only connection I would possibly have for Temerita Reid (Meri) is Cordie!

• Cordie Middlemiss was in the same year as Meri and is also a part of the Middle Class, though the only difference is that Cordie's a Muggleborn. She, too, was a Hufflepuff and started Hogwarts at around the same time, so these two may or may not have seen each other all the time. Cordie is now an Art Instructor at Hogwarts and has worked there since 1892 after gaining experience as an Artist before getting hired. She has been happily engaged to Salvatore Howlett since the summer following her first year of teaching (1893). I'm open to seeing how these two would interact or would have interacted if they'd talked before.
  

Cordie also happens to have been a year below Thistle, even though they're around or are the same age and in different Hogwarts houses. Like Meri, I'm open to seeing how Cordie would interact or would have interacted with Thistle if they'd talked before.
