Cory Greene | [1857-1886] FatherAppearance: Chloe is a respectable four feet ten inches and is worried that she will be freakishly tall when she is older. She has wavy auburn locks that frame pale creamy skin. She absolutely despises her abundance of freckles but has to admit that they do have a beautiful effect on her boring gray eyes. If only she didn't have to wear glasses when she read too, it's an insult to an injury in her mind. Chloe loves fashionable clothes and fancy hairstyles, she has to make up for freckles and glasses somehow. She is left handed.

History:
Born in 1883 as the first child born to Florence and Cory she was a quiet baby, always watching the world with large eyes. As she got older she began to demand her way through temper tantrums of the toddler years. In the spring of 1886 Chloe’s life is overturned with the death of her father and uncle in a freak carriage accident. She begins to worry that everyone she loves will die and when her younger sister Corrine is born in October she instantly bonds with her and in that bonding becomes overly protective.
Because of her cousins Chloe is introduced to toy brooms at a family gathering and spends much of the months before the Christmas of 1887 begging for her own toy broom. When her governess is introduced at the age of five (1888) Chloe immediately takes to lessons. She still loves bossing Rinnie around in the nursery, picking wildflowers, and flying around on her broom, but now she is equally likely to be found with a book in hand, reads anything she can find - her family is grateful that she ceases asking why constantly and instead soaks up the information she finds in her books and lessons. Shortly after her lessons starts she is annoyed that Rinnie won't share Chloe's doll so she vanishes it from Rinnie's arms - except this backfires as she never sees the doll again, but the incident is also her first display of magic. No sooner does her family start worrying about unexpected bursts of magic from Chloe than the fog rolls in, Chloe vaguely remembers this summer and the lack of magic, but for the most part Chloe’s life is unaffected by the event.
When Rinnie turns five (1891) she also joins Chloe for lessons with the governess which sparks a healthy competition between the sisters, at least on Chloe's end, and she applies herself even more diligently. Now Chloe waits in eager anticipation for her Hogwarts letter.
Personality: Bookish and quiet around those Chloe doesn’t know she is often considered shy and withdrawn. But those who do know her know this is quite the opposite. While Chloe does love to read and learn, she isn’t afraid to correct you if she thinks you’re wrong, nor does this keep her from being bossy - after all she is the oldest sibling at home. Chloe is the one to fearlessly plunge into a situation - for someone else’s benefit of course (at least that’s what she thinks). Yes, she might lead a group onward in a social situation, but she’d also much rather be reading than dealing with anyone else in the first place. She soaks up facts like a sponge and spends much of her pin money on books.
In short: Bookworm, Bossy, Bold, Inquisitive, Impulsive, Intelligent
