Dahlia's surprise over the broom was warranted and it made Daff chuckle a little. "It's not for flying, it's beautiful, all hand carved with flowers in the tail." It did fly, Elias had mentioned, but Daff wasn't about to test the theory. Even if she had agreed to flying lessons (only from Elias from here on out) she would be using one of his tried and true models that were meant to be flown with ease.
The enthusiastic hug was a bit unexpected, but Daff gave Dahlia a loving squeeze. "Well, yes I suppose he does." It showed in everything he did, the little things and the big. Just thinking about it brought a smitten smile to her lips. "I must confess, it's part of the reason I stopped by today." She leaned back to look at Dahlia with uncertainty on her features.
"I wanted to make sure it was alright with you, since you and Mr. Honeyduke are already courting and I didn't want to step on your toes or take away from your experience, to accept a courtship offer from Elias." He'd been so incredibly patient with her and she was getting antsy herself, something had to give.
