My son,
Mr. Julius Scrimgeour,

I have been deliberating writing the family for fear that what transpired between myself and that har your sister has caused undue rumours and stress on yourself and your sister.

I hope yourself and Araminta are doing well and trust my wife is suitably well. As I am not present, it would be prudent to remind you that you are in charge of the household during my absence.

Did yourself and Araminta attend the Hogwarts ball? Pray tell you both found yourself suitors.

How is the house keeping? Is it being kept to well?

It is with all my love to yourself and your sister that I send you this owl and trust I will receive a response soon. Please address your owl to the Ministry with reference to my name; all correspondence is to be screened by the Ministry.

Please would you drop by Gringotts if you've the chance and withdraw some galleons for your sister and yourself as a treat. My key is in my study. Your mother knows the location.

Your father,
Mr. Argus Scrimgeour

Father
Had you any worry of undo stress or worry you wouldn't had even thought of raising a hand to Annabel
the letter was scribbled on quite darkly and then abandoned and tossed into the fire. he then walked away.

Undue? All said of use certainly isn't undue. You gave them all the reason to speculate and whisper. You have no need to worry. I, unlike you, am aware oh my duties to my family. I do not prioritize my image over their well being. I am not the creature they need protection from.
As for the ball, our lives are no longer your concern. You lost that right when you hurt one of our own and called it just.
The house is fine. Better, actually, now that the maids do not fear for their life.
I do not wish for your love. It is not well received and most certainly unreturned. I hope you rot in Askaban for the rest of your life. And then more. You are not the man I once idolized. He would never have done this to us. He wouldn't have torn his own family apart into a million pieces.
This will be the last letter you receive from me.

he thought of sending this. then ripped it apart and set this one on fire as well, but magically. and spelled the ashes away so it could never be reassembled. he then walked away.

I fear there are some. I have have been working to keep the damaged restrained.
We are doing well, all things considering. You have no need to worry after the family or the house. You've schooled me often in what to do. I know the running of both like the back of my hand.
We both did attend the ball. No matches were made, but connections were established for us both. I believe it went well and was worth the effort. You will be comforted to know that I believe none of the girls graduating this year to be of threat to Araminta.
Thank you father. I will go out with her this afternoon.
