Frederick Timmons, father [b.1836]Appearance: Petite and slender, Poppy stands at an even five feet and has subtle but decent curves often exaggerated by a good corset. Her hair falls in natural long blonde waves but is typically kept into a neat bun at the name of her neck. Her eyes are a pale blue and seem to always be watching everything around her, paying attention to every little detail. Her clothing is certainly not of the finest fabric or the height of fashion but is still well kept and could easily pass her off as a little higher in station than she really is. She's right handed and has quite impeccable handwriting.

History:
1863: The second child of Frederick and Lorraine Timmons and first daughter, Poppy is born. She’s a sweet baby with a calm temperament and the family nurse takes a special shine to her.Personality: Intelligent. Witty. Sassy. Observant. Independent.
1866: Another brother is born, Orson.
1870: A sister is born, Miranda. She’s a much needier little girl. Trying to help sooth the fussy baby, Poppy shows her first sign of magic by bringing a nursery mobile to life. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help with soothing the baby.
1871: Marshall leaves for school.
1875: Due to a late birthday, Poppy heads off to school less than two months shy of her twelfth birthday. She finds herself sorted into Ravenclaw, a different house than her brother.
1877: After Orson leaves for school to join his siblings, Frederick decides to move his family into Hogsmeade thanks to the uproar of learning about wizards in London.
Poppy adds Arithmancy and Ancient Studies to her schedule. Just after her fourteenth birthday, Poppy forms quite the schoolgirl crush on a boy two years ahead of her. He notices and actually encourages the crush, often flirting with her just to see her blush.
1878: Marshall graduates.
1879: Poppy starts her fifth year, the year that changes everything. Mr. Upperclassman, had started spending one on one time with Poppy. Then during one of the first Hogsmeade trips, Poppy and Mr. Upperclassman get intimate. Virginity gone, things are only bound to get worse.
1880: After Christmas break, Poppy returns to school knowing for sure she’s pregnant. It’s a terrifying idea but something she hopes to keep hidden. Unfortunately, morning sickness is nonstop all day sickness for her. She ends up sent to the infirmary where the truth is found out. She doesn’t admit that Mr. Upperclassman is the father, instead makes a false accusation against one of the men that works for her family. Regardless of who she’s expelled and is promptly disowned by her family despite being so young.
Luckily for her, the nurse that had been in the family’s employ when she was an infant can’t stand the idea of her living on the streets while being pregnant. Nurse gets her settled in London with her own family. Poppy is allowed to rest until her son, Gareth, is born in July. He’s a quiet baby that very much looks like his father. Darker hair and the most precious dimples, the only thing he gets from his mother is his temperament and light eye color. After a few weeks of recovering from the birth, she begins working as a lady’s maid with Nurse’s sister, her past being kept secret.
1883: During a tussle with a drunken man intent on trying to “get a kiss” while walking home one evening, her wand is broken. She has just enough saved to be able to buy herself a new one.
1885: Poppy finds herself at Gibson’s Books on an errand for her lady. She, surprisingly, shows a bit of sass when Gordon makes a remark to her. He offers her a job on the spot. And though she hesitates, the schedule and money is hard to turn down. She’ll be able to have evenings with her son, which is a bonus. She’s lucky enough to be able to continue living with Nurse’s family for the time being as she starts working for Gordon. His reputation precedes him and she’s well aware that he doesn’t deal well with those that don’t make prompt payments. And they are always known as Poppy keeps impeccable records in all “aspects” of Gordon’s livelihood.
1890: It’s been years since Poppy has thought about Mr. Upperclassman. She’d picked up the shambles of her life, moved on, and built a life for herself. Of course, just as one is settled and decently happy in life, something has to upend it all. Running into Mr. Classman is a shock, especially when it’s done with their son present. There’s no denying Gareth is his. Who knows what will happen next...
