Dueling! Finally Cammie was getting to point his wand at someone in threatening manner that wouldn't get him detention. Much to his dismay, though, he found that his opponent was a girl, and one of the weird ones at that. He'd have to tone it down so he didn't get a stink-eye from the crowd.

After the necessary formalities were observed, Cammie raised his wand and attempted the full body bind.

Helixa observed her opponent with her usual blend of calm mingled with confusion at members of the human race she had not shared a womb with. Nevertheless she inclined her head as she was supposed to and flicked her wand to conjure a shield to reflect his attack.

  

Quite a tame round with both spells cast rather well for their age bracket. "This first round goes to Miss Hyslop," the secretary said. "Miss Hyslop if you would start our next round please."

Even though she had won Helixa knew instinctively that she could do better - perhaps not in terms of casting but certainly in respect of not casting such a basic spell. Instead she attempted the much trickier feat of sending birds to attack the boys head.
