The Faraday siblings are easy to identify when they're in a group, as they all have the same general coloring (and, unfortunately, the same cackle-like laugh.) Effie is privately left-handed, but writes with her right — she does favor her left for wandwork.

1874: Pippa is born; Effie hardly remembers this, but she was rather excited.
1876: Seeking attention from the nanny, Effie demonstrates magic. Unfortunately, once she's given the attention, she realizes she can use magic to get it — this becomes a bit of a problem for a few months.
1877: The muggles are rioting, Mama and Papa talk about moving to Hogsmeade but never go, and the Faraday grandparents are very nervous about everyone getting found out. Warner is born on a hot, violent day that summer.
1878: Erasmus goes to Hogwarts; Effie is too young to be properly jealous of her elder brother.
1883-1884: Effie and Harley go to Hogwarts where they are both promptly sorted into Gryffindor. They share a house, several friends, and a tendency to get in over their head. They also spend a great deal of time dispelling the myth that they are actual twins. (Twins are bad luck!) The Faradays are left unscathed by the plague due to, probably, their father's status as a muggleborn.
1884-1885: Effie attends her second year. In June, Erasmus finishes at Hogwarts and goes on to a career at the Ministry, which likely suits him.
1885-1886: Effie picks Ghoul Studies and Divination as her electives for third year. Pippa begins at school.
1886-1887: Fourth year passes uneventfully, except for the added intensity of OWL exams starting to become a threat people talk about. Effie stops growing any taller, which is frustrating, because she had grand aspirations of being tall and intimidating.
1887-1888: OWL year! Harley has to take things much more seriously than Effie does, but she tries her best. She collects some scores she's proud of and some which she is decidedly not.
1888-1889: Warner begins at Hogwarts. Effie continues at the NEWT level with Herbology, Charms, Transfiguration, and Ghoul Studies.
1889-1890: Effie is secretly morose about her seventh year; she wishes she could stay in the safety of Hogwarts instead of the open hostility of the marriage mart. She debuts in June, and her parents ensure that she knows that she is to make an illustrious match, for the familial ambitions.
1890-1892: The pressure to make an illustrious marriage is starting to feel a little oppressive after a few completed seasons, but Effie is feeling confident about the upcoming year.
