Appearance: Hannah stands above-average in stature at five feet and five inches, her body a bit softer around the edges than it was when she left Hogwarts. Porcelain skin and blonde hair mirror those of her mother, and until losing her unborn child and the marital woes that escalated from there, grey eyes nearly always held a vibrant spark to them. She has a full mouth that smiles easily—though not always in earnest—and is right-handed. When out and about, Hannah dresses fashionably.
History: 1864 | Within the span of thirty minutes, the Echelon family expands by two: Rolf and Hannah. Even from an early age, her relationship with both parents is largely distant, and her father remains all but a stranger to her until the day he dies.
1871 | Never particularly close to her twin, Hannah’s first act of magic sees her set his hat on fire. He’s wearing it at the time. The lad’s hair is quite singed and never grows back quite right, but otherwise he is unharmed.
1876 | The twins depart for Hogwarts. Rolf is sorted into Slytherin, and Hannah into Gryffindor. It is the least she ever has to see him, and she finds it vastly preferable.
1878 | In her third year, Hannah decides to try out for the house quidditch team. Her father’s refusal to allow it does not go over well.
1881 | Following her OWLs, Hannah continues on with Astronomy, Charms, and Herbology, reasoning that there’s no need to strain herself academically when she will realistically just become a gentleman’s wife.
1883 | With some reluctance, she returns home upon completion of her NEWTs.

1884 | Hannah uses an unsuccessful first season as an excuse to leave home for Pendergast School for Young Roses. Neither parent seems to care one way or the other.
1885 | Everything goes horribly awry. Her father is proved to be about as far from the man she believed him as possible. In spite of the dramatic social and financial fallout of this very public revelation (which followed his abrupt death), she is able to develop a romance with Thom Pettigrew.
1886 | Thom and Hannah marry in November. Though she loves him with all her heart, she does not readjust well to returning to the society that so swiftly discarded her the year before. Her lack of interest in social functions begins to drive a wedge between husband and wife.
1887 | In spite of this, it is with a great deal of pride that she announces her pregnancy. Unfortunately, she ‘delivers’ much too soon, and the underdeveloped infant fails even to draw breath. This is not ideal for a floundering marriage.
