Appearance:
Jules is a good looking man, although he thinks he is too small. He is 5 feet and 6 inches tall and averagely built, which came in handy when playing quidditch. His build made him agile and able to avoid bludgers hit his way. Jules however always wanted to be bigger and stronger, to be even more effective in the field, but had to come to terms with his, he thought smaller, built. He is right-handed, although he perfected the skill of hitting the bludger with his left arm as well.
He has blonde, short curls and bright blue eyes. Above his expressive eyes are bushy eyebrows, which are usually in a small frown. In the middle of his face is his somewhat crooked and big nose, which is adorned with small freckles. These show even more during the summer when the sun is out. He always has quite some calluses on his hands because of his work in the yard and flying on his broom.
He likes to wear natural colors like brown and taupe and combines it with accent colors like blue and silver. His favorite robe is dark brown with a small silver lining and thread woven through. He thinks it adds an air of mystery. He does believe that clothes have to be practical above anything else, and he would never wear something just for the looks of it.
History:
1865 ► Jules was born in London, as the youngest of four brothers. His father is a revered watchmaker and the Wright family belongs to the upper middle class. All of the children enjoy a primary education. Being the youngest allowed Jules to be more free, to follow his own path. Which was a good thing, considering the letter they received in the summer before his 11th birthday. Jules was lucky with his parents and family, which embraced his magical abilities and made sure he was able to go to Hogwarts.
1876 - 1883 ► Jules goes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor. At Hogwarts he quickly finds his true passion: flying and playing Quidditch. He plays for his house-team and earns a quidditch scholarship. Just like his brothers, who attended a muggle secondary education, Jules receives high grades. He finishes Hogwarts with high N.E.W.T. grades in Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions. During his Hogwarts years he found some true friends, and attended several clubs like the Dueling Club and Wizarding Chess Club.
1883 - 1888 ► After graduation Jules moved to Hogsmeade. His father buys him a home in Bartonburgh North, to ensure that his youngest son has proper living arrangements that fit their standards. Jules starts his professional Quidditch career for the Montrose Magpies. The first two years he was a reserve beater, but in his third year became a 1st string beater.
1888 - present ► After 5 years Jules is done with playing professional Quidditch. Although he loved flying and playing Quidditch, the life of a professional Quidditch player is always busy and he always had to be "on", while sometimes Jules just needed to be able to turn off. He started an education at Gringotts to become a curse-breaker and after one year his first assignment was in Egypt, where he still breaks curses today. He usually lives in Egypt for 2 - 3 weeks, or how long it takes him to break a curse or he needs a break, which he alternates with 2 - 3 weeks in London. His owl and cat move with him and both seem fine with it, or even seem to enjoy it.

Jules sighed as he walked into the pub, happy to be back in London. He had been in Egypt for the past two weeks, trying to break a particularly nasty and difficult curse. Others had come before him and had failed miserably, ending with them in the hospital. And Jules had to admit grudgingly that he had not succeeded either. Yet.
Whenever he was stuck like this, he knew he had to take a break and return to his favorite place on earth: home. Nothing cleared his mind like having a drink with his best friends at their favorite pub or snuggling in front of his fireplace with a good book and his cat curled around his leg. And when he was all charged up again, he would go back and defeat that curse once and for all.
Jules would describe himself as an extrovert introvert: he loves being around people, as a matter of fact he needs to be around people, but he also needs to be alone to recharge. He needs to be able to hear his own thoughts and reflect on happenings in order to not go crazy. But when he has collected his own thoughts again, he likes nothing more than to get together with his friends and go on a new adventure.
Right now was one of those moments. He wanted to shake off his failure and focus on other things before he would go back and try again. The goblins of Gringotts were not favorable to those who failed to break the curses and he very much wanted to keep his job and keep getting the interesting assignments. However, he had broken enough curses for this year already and he didn't really need the money anyway, so he allowed himself to relax for a bit as well and take it slow. He didn't want to end up in the hospital bed next to the poor lad who had tried to break the curse before him.
He reached the bar and took a seat. He quickly ordered a firewhiskey as he looked around to see if his friends had already arrived. It seemed that he was the first one there, but Jules didn't mind. He liked looking at all the different people who visited the pub, as he downed the first firewhiskey and ordered another one. Ah, good to be back. He thought, as he leaned back in his chair and relaxed.
