Appearance:
History:Eugene has tan skin with olive undertones, dark brown eyes and dark hair that he tends to keep long now that he has the freedom to do so. He stands taller than most Victorian men at five feet and eleven inches. He has a slightly muscular build. Eugene dresses as is typical of a working class man but does his best to keep himself clean and tidy due to conditioning from the time he was a footman.
1868: Eugene is born the child of a prostitute who does not even know who his father could possibly be. She decides to keep him despite being unmarried.
1873: A brother is born. He, too, has an unknown father. This same year, Eugene shows his first signs of magic by accidentally causing a seed to rapidly bloom.
1877: Eugenes mother wastes no time settling into the new settlement of Hogsmeade.
1878: Eugenes mother marries but her new husband states that he will not care for her bastard children. Eugene and his brother are forced onto the streets where Eugene takes cares of his brother. Eventually, they are taken in by an upper class family and made to work as unpaid servants as the family feels room, board and food is payment enough.
1880: Eugene gets his Hogwarts letter and is permitted to go off to Hogwarts. He is promptly sorted into Hufflepuff. An outgoing boy, he finds himself making a small group of friends.
1881: Eugenes grades prove to be atrocious and render him unable to achieve any sort of scholarships. He is unable to return to Hogwarts. He keeps in touch with his friends via letters and when they are old enough, Hogsmeade weekends. He and his brother continue to work for the same family.
1882: Eugenes position is promoted to footman. With this, he starts to earn pay that is decent enough to him.
1884: Eugene finds out that one of his close friends has died due to the laughing sickness and is quite distraught. He worries for the others and checks on them often, even if they may be unaware of it. This same year, he harbours a bit of a crush on Lavenders sister, Primrose. Nothing comes of it and it soon fades with time.
1886: Eugene experiences a romantic attraction to working class boy, Prosper Heart. He has no clear idea if it is requited or not but he doesn't wholly mind just being the other boys friend.
1887: Eugene begins to feel restless as he's passed over for the promotion to first footman that he dearly wanted. Following his attendance at an event that showcased different things from around the world, Eugene begins experiencing a thirst for more, for some sort of adventure. He is of the belief that he can never have that due to his station in life but even so, he ends up quitting his job for the sake of being free to pursue other avenues.
1888: Hearing about the Avalon Expedition, Eugene signs on as a crew member that is tasked with taking care of the owls. Eugene is both terrified at the prospect of being on a boat at sea and excited.
