Connie smiled at her opponent, deciding that it was altogether more pleasant to be duelling a friend and colleague than a stranger. At least she knew if the Professor won it was because she was a worthy winner and Connie had not entirely mucked up her attempt. After showing proper decorum Connie cast a fully body bind.

The Hogwarts Matron's spell worked like a shot, though so did Mrs. Vorona's, and it was the blonde witch who ended up in a full body bind instead of her intended recipient.

Victor waved his wand to undo the spell. "This point goes to Mrs. Vorona who will commence our next round. Mrs. Vorona, when Miss Sykes has quite recovered, please begin."

Angelica trusted her magic, but it was still a shock to come out unscathed against her friend. Hoping to close this bout out in two spells, Angelica paid homage to their former house and sent jets of water, in the form of snakes, rocketing toward her compatriot. Perhaps, Constance would forgive her, eventually.
