September 14th 1893 saw the occurrence of the first Ministerial Debate taking place in London at the Crowdy Memorial Library. All ministerial candidates were present at the time, and in the midst of answering questions set forth by current Minister for Magic, Justin Ross. In any other time, this article would have been devoted to summarizing the replies of all candidates for the public, however that must wait. At approximately 5:45 pm, Mr. Clyde Armstrong, court scribe burst into the room announcing that there were dragons attacking the city. Minister Ross did not miss a beat when beginning to instruct the crowd in what to do and where to go. Many of the ministerial candidates went to fetch other Ministry Heads who proceeded to bring their teams on the scene. From what we know, it seems that the Peruvian Vipertooth Dragons came from a ship on the Thames that has since been destroyed. Ministry officials are still working on investigating further. Two passenger ships, the Santa Lucia and the Victory were almost immediately decimated, as they were the ships closest to the origin of the dragons. Official counts are still being made as to the casualties that resulted from this horrible disaster.
