MISSING! WIFE OF FAUSTUS PREWETT VANISHES
Mrs. Marie-Louise Prewett Vanishes From the Streets of London
The Department of Magical Law Enforcement is investigating the disappearance of Mrs. Marie-Louise Prewett, formerly Skovgaard, wife of Head Auror, Mr. Faustus Prewett who was reported missing midday, Sunday July 16, 1893.
She left the Prewett residence on foot at seven o'clock Sunday morning to attend the eight o'clock service at St. Paul's Lutheran with plans to then proceed to work at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries where she is employed as a spell-damage healer. Supervisor and Head Healer of the Spell-Damage Ward at St. Mungo's, Mr. Caltheus Rookwood, reported that Mrs. Prewett did not show up to her shift at ten o'clock that morning.
Mrs. Prewett has been well known for her punctuality and is well respected throughout the community. When asked to comment Mr. Rookwood said, "Mrs. Prewett has always been one of our most fastidious and talented healers in the ward. We are aiding the Ministry's search as best we can." Sources indicate that Mrs. Prewett may have been kidnapped on her morning walk prior to arriving at St. Paul's.
The Department of Law Enforcement has asked that anyone with information regarding Mrs. Prewett please contact them immediately. Mr. Faustus Prewett had this to say, "I want to thank everyone who has been working overtime to bring Marie home to us. We will not rest until she is found. Marie, if you are reading this, I love you deeply. Please wait for me. I will find you."
