History:While relatively average in height, Eulalia can be quite striking when she means to. Doe eyes as dark as the night sky, full lips, and a slender nose conspire to paint a likeness her mother that grows more accurate every day; a woman whose own appearance has been known to render married wizards speechless, despite her having eyes for no other apart from her own husband. Not that it would surprise anyone even remotely aware of her heritage, of course. Familial legend claims that the Dutch-Indonesian Van Eycks descend from a veela-inclined bloodline that traces its roots back to the whitesand beaches of Bali. However, neither Eulalia nor her mother have found any hard evidence on the matter.
Regardless, the young Miss Lufkin does her best to ensure that her appearance is flawless. She takes particular care of her hair, rinsing it with a very specific mixture of potions both before and after it's scrubbed clean so that it falls in luscious curls rather than frizzy waves. Her finer robes and dresses are bespoke—perfectly tailored to complement her curves—but even the garments that derive from the shops are kept in pristine condition. As a governess, she feels that such matters are part of her job description. The upper echelons of society are renowned in their emphasis on first impressions, and therefore, Eulalia ensures to never disappoint even from an initial glance.
Having said that, the witch's confidence is evident in the way she holds herself; a jut to her chin and an impeccability to her posture from a childhood spent balancing tombs atop her head. She isn't one to hesitate, but would also never dare to act before she thinks. Every movement and word is carefully calcuated—proving that she is prideful without arrogance and considerate without doubt.
Personality:
- 1870: Eulalia is born to Evander and Jasmijn Lufkin; young, enthusiastic parents who've already experienced two stillbirths by the time of her birth. It is believed that her survival lifts a long-forgotten curse on the Lufkin name.
- 1873: Eulalia is barely three when her parents attempt to have another child. Her sister is born without a heartbeat, and the midwife breaks the unfortunate news that Eulalia will be their one and only child.
- 1877: The establishment of Hogsmeade sees the Lufkins leave their humble abode in Salisbury, England for a new chapter in the Scottish Highlands. Evander's cushy position at the Ministry ensures that their little family can settle into a comfortable manor house in Bartonburg North.
- 1881: Eulalia begins her formal education at Hogwarts. She is sorted into Ravenclaw, but only after the Sorting Hat deliberates for eight minutes on whether she possesses characteristics that are better suited to Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Her peers refer to her as "Hatstall Lufkin" for an entire year.
- 1885: Eustice Lufkin, Eulalia's paternal uncle, makes a snide remark about her studies. He believes her pretty enough for marriage, but too pretty for a life of academics. Perhaps partially out of spite, Eulalia puts in exceptional effort to receive all twelve O.W.L.s and makes a point to tell Eustice and the rest of her extended family about the achievement at Christmas dinner.
- 1886: On the night of her sixteenth birthday, Eulalia shares a chaste kiss with a blue-eyed Gryffindor witch in the darkness of the Shrieking Shack. They write to each other throughout the summer, using codenames and advanced concealment charms to keep their identities a secret.
- June 1888: Studious and diligent, Eulalia graduates with near-perfect N.E.W.T.s and achieves top grades in every exam that she takes. Her father saves every report card and her mother ensures to tell all of the witches at her society meetings.
- December 1888: At the start of the social season, the Lufkin family begins to receive formal courtship letters. However, much to her mother's chagrin, Eulalia politely declines all of them in favor of continuing her studies to become a governess.
- 1889: Equipped with her charm, intelligence, and respectable family background, Eulalia soon becomes employed by several wealthy families. She educates young witches and wizards on a wide range of topics, including etiquette, foreign language, history, geography, and even the pianoforte when her employers are so inclined.
- 1891: The Gryffindor witch from Eulalia's youth becomes ever more present within her life. The two find one another at sufferage rallies and ice cream shops where the occasional witch rights meeting takes place. But they remain as careful and tactful as ever about the nature of their relationship, aiming for discreetness at all times.

- She is the direct descendant of Artemisia Lufkin, who was the first witch to become Minister of Magic, serving from 1798 to 1811. Artemisia established the Department of International Magical Cooperation and lobbied hard and successfully to have a Quidditch World Cup tournament held in Britain during her term in office. Through her father, Eulalia is Artemisia's great-great-granddaughter.
- Her patronus used to take the form of an elegant white swan, but it has recently begun to change shape. It continues to morph more clearly into the patronus of her Gryffindor lover, which is why she prefers to cast it in a safe, non-corporeal form when it's necessary to cast at all.
- Her boggart is that of a wealthy albeit angry white wizard with a bristly mustache and a finely tailored suit. It holds out an engagement ring and relentlessly asks for her hand in marriage, citing several reasons why it is the only worth she possesses.
- Eulalia has a knack for foreign languages, speaking English, French, Dutch, Latin, Ancient Greek, and Gobbledegook in varying levels of fluency. She can also parlay in conversational Indonesian, and even knows quite a few phrases in Mermish.
- She is homosexual, but keeps her romantic life incredibly discreet for risk of ruining her career. As a governess for hire, she is educating the children of old-money families, which oftentimes include particular emphasis on traditional values regarding courtship and a witch's place in society (or lack thereof).
