Three siblings in Hogsmeade.

Father, of course, was not an option, and Iya had long been kept at arm's length from the company. After all, she was family, but not Adebayo. Callista was most assuredly no nothing. Femi would tell Genia what he knew, of that much the Slytherin was sure, but what he knew would certainly pale in comparison to Kayin. Less forthcoming, she suspected, but more knowledgable. He would have to do.

Absently biting at the side of her cheek, Iphigenia put quill to parchment.

Brother,

You will, I hope, forgive my cutting to the chase; my academic pursuits naturally take priority, and so I do not wish to neglect them longer than necessary. Word has reached me rather through the grapevine—a mouthy, catty grapevine who does not know what's good for her—that the family was recently transporting, of all things, dragons. While I do not presume to understand the nuances of the family business, I do implore you for confirmation that our ships played no part in this latest reign of chaos! To say it would be inconvienient, as Father intends for me to make my debut in the spring, would be an nderstatement of the highest order.

Hoping you are well et cetera,

Dearest Ife,

There is no need to add the pleasantries and fluff with me, though I would still advice that you allow yourself a break from your studies long enough to write a letter. The mind needs to rest of you want it to work its full capacity.

What you heard is merely gossip and I can assure you that we played no role in the dragon attacks over London. Whenever we have transported such creatures, we have followed all the necessary regulations so as to avoid such a tragedy from occurring.

As such, your debut in the spring is safe, though I wonder if that would make you happy, if you consider even letter writing a frivolity to your studies, imagine how silly you will find being a debutante. It is all frivolities and pleasantries and only some academic discussion, if you're lucky. Perhaps I should arrange for a scandal until then so as to save you from such a fate, and then you could pursue more thrilling things?

With love,

Kayin
