History: Eliphas was born in the year of 1866, in a good house in the country of Wales. Both his mother and father were wizards that graduated in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Walsh's son went to the same school in the year of 1877, where he was selected to the Ravenclaw house. The boy revealed to be very talented in magic, especially in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Herbology was his third best subject. In the sixth-year, when Eliphas was only missing one year to graduated, the event that change his life happened. It was summer and Eliphas was anxious to get back to school. But in the month of june, 1883, during a full moon, a werewolf attacked the good house of the Walsh family. Eliphas's parents and the boy himself tried to defend themselves. They could only repel the beast after several rounds of spells, and because they were the majority. As a result, though, Eliphas's mom died, and Eliphas himself got beaten.
Eliphas's dad, a proeminent wizard of Wales, didn't report the case to the Wizarding World authorities. His version was that his wife had been killed by a banshee that was habiting an abandoned castle of Wales. Eliphas's wound was treated in his house, with a mixture of ditanny and powdered silver. Although the boy lived, that event was the death of his relationship with his father. The man prohibited the boy to go back to Hogwarts, fearing the reaction of the Wizarding Society finding out that his son was a werewolf. He expelled the boy from his house, giving him a good amount of galleons to "start his life again".
That was how Eliphas, a few years later, ended up in Hogsmeade, buying the Apothecary store. He also bought a house in the same village, near the Apothecary. Eliphas carries to this day the lycanthropy illness, but tries to hide as much as he can. Every full moon, he travels to the most wild and isolated location that he can find -forest, mountains-, where he can change causing only minor damages
Personality: Loyal, curious, witty and very intelligent. Eliphas is a very good friend and faithful to those who support him, but due to his condition, he isn't the most social person
Other: Eliphas
Sample Roleplay Post: Eliphas opened the door to the Apothecary and rapidly walked in, anxious to get away from the cold streets of Hogsmeade. It was still very early in the morning, and the snow was falling slow, covering the streets like a white blanket. With his teeth chattering from the cold, he dropped his suitcase on the balcon, grasped his wand from an inside pocket and aimed it at the fireplace. "Incendio". The flames hit the already prepared wood, lighting up the fire and slowly warming up the room. With a few more waves of his wand, he enchanted his small coffee kit behind the balcony to make his morning coffee, boiling his water with the water-heating spell and using the Levitation Charm to prepare the rest.
The man walked to the space behind the counter and checked the orders for the day: a woman from the village had requested some bezoars for later, while an old potion-maker had asked him for some puffer-fish eyes for as soon as he opened the store. He would probably enter the Apothecary at any minute now. The third request was a Muffling Draught. Apparently, an old lady that lived near the Apothecary had enchanted her clock to scream every two hours, and now she didn't know how to undo the spell. Walsh took a sip from his coffee and stretched his back, opening one of the jars from the shelves to select the best puffer-fish eyes. After he was done, he started selecting the proper ingredients to brew the Muffling Draught. It wasn't a complex potion, but it took some time, and he wanted to solve the clock situation as much as the old lady. The scream was so loud that could be heard from the Apothecary, and it was difficult to work with a screaming clock making that stupid sound twelve times a day.
