History:

1869: Luciana is born as the second child and first daughter to the Italian Zabini family.

1876: A visit to Britain is in order when one of her cousins finds herself married. While not much is memorable for the seven-ish aged child, one thing is clear. She is utterly jealous of how much her cousins have. Being grouped off to play with her closest in age cousin - Bellona - she finds herself being agitated and snippy towards the other girl. This will lead to a tense relationship for years to come.

1877: When her brother takes her favorite necklace, her first act of magic shows in regards of actually burning his hand. Yes, she did feel fairly bad about that.

1879: Off to school, and it does give Luciana a sense of pride that she shall be getting another year of schooling than her cousins. The class divide is felt heavily.

1881: Luciana is related to halfbloods? Gross. While a very loyal friend or two is one thing, an actual relationship feels dirty. Her bitterness only grows, but she does feel slightly superior towards Bellona. So at least there is a silver lining in there somewhere.

1887: Out in Italian society, mother makes it clear that sights are to be aimed high. Goodness sakes, Luciana just wants to get married and enjoy her life. But her mother does intimidate her, and it's only worse to not do as mother says.

1890: A lack of luck in the husband hunting department finds Luciana in a frustrated stand still. Now the family has plans of being in London by the end of May, or early July at the latest. Luciana isn't exactly sure why as father is too busy and all mother talks about is how a British man might see her as above her station already and will marry her. Which helps little in terms of knowing why they are actually going.
