As far as Fitz Prewett was concerned, this entire duel was unnecessary. While it would be a delightful coup to see the Law Enforcement head, a former auror, get defeated by a desk monkey, Fitz was confident that Lestrange was far too useless to pull off anything close. As such, it was with only mild enthusiasm that he reviewed the rules (more for the younger wizard's sake; Greyback was old hat) and bid Lestrange to begin.
RE: Kristoffer Lestrange vs. Murdock Greyback - Kristoffer Lestrange - October 23, 2021
He had not been entirely sober when he’d signed up for this tournament, but that he was up against some big name from Magical Law Enforcement in the first round felt like some divine confirmation of his capabilities, didn’t it? (Kristoffer couldn’t fathom the alternative, that perhaps somebody had set him up to fail for a laugh.)
Hoping to see his opponent’s eyes swelled shut so that he wouldn’t be able to see where to aim, even if he was a formidable spell-caster, Kristoffer started off with a confident – an overconfident? – Conjunctivitis Curse.

He saluted mister Lestrange and then Mister Prewett. He hadn't heard much about lestranges abilities but, if he was being honest, the port key office wasn't exactly full of the ministry's best and brightest.
Murdock cast a spell to conjure a mirror hoping to reflect the spell back at lestrange.

Surprising exactly no one in the assembly, Greyback's spell performed (presumably) as intended—creating quite the visual spectacle in the process. It was with a boyish grin that Fitz watched Lestrange's eyes swell shut, and it took a few minutes for the mediwizard on duty to reverse the effects so that Greyback could begin the next pass.

Murdock tried not to wince as the spell hut the other man. It was gross to look at, but nothing hurt more than another's sympathy at a time like this.
In the first position he cast a freezing spell, an old aurors classic to stop a man in his tracks.
RE: Kristoffer Lestrange vs. Murdock Greyback - Kristoffer Lestrange - October 27, 2021
What a farce! Kristoffer's spell had worked, and this flare of pain at his own eyes was proof of it, and Greyback had just been supremely lazy here, it absolutely wasn't fair! And even Prewett was smirking, too.
Kris scowled. He didn't trust his own deflection skills that far, so – a little bitterly – he shot a hair-growing charm at the already-hairy old man, hoping his ugly ginger beard would grow longer and longer so quickly that Greyback would hopefully trip himself up on it and his aim would be ruined.

Once again, Greyback's spell did the trick: Lestrange was frozen mid-cast, a particularly entertaining contortion of his face static in time.
"The winner," Fitz announced after allowing the audience literal minutes to enjoy the effect before unfreezing Lestrange, "is Mr. Greyback, who will progress to the next round of our tournament!"
