Mr. Abney,
Like every year, I went to watch the other teams' tryouts and it was odd not seeing you there with the Slytherin team. As you probably figured Urquart was made captain. They posted the results of tryouts last weekend and if you were curious and the new beaters for your house are Mr. Hobday and [name] while a firstie made the last chaser spot (I'll be honest, I'm surprised Urquart was willing to take a first year. He's small and not much to look at, but who am I to judge off appearances. I would have never made the team in that case.) and Miss Moony actually became the seeker with [name] as keeper.
We've only got the two new beaters as no one graduated last year.
I haven't heard anything about you signing onto a team. Are you going to or have you decided that you are done with competitive quidditch? I think you'd have a decent shot if you went for it. You'd have plenty of girls as your fans. You could get some of those little moving action figures modeled after you. I'd buy one for you. Or maybe you are going to find something in the ministry or in potions - you liked potions didn't you?
The start of fifth year has gone well for me so far though I am excited to get to choose my classes next year. How is everything going for you?
Your friend,
Calla Potts
