Help Please! - Melody Crouch - June 6, 2021
Hi!
To make a long story short, depression sucks and I'm sorry to have poofed on all my plots/characters. Things are still not great, but I'm at least hitting a point where I'm starting to figure out where I'm at with my characters.
I know I'm going to have at least one drop. As much as I love Dory, I can't get into his muse anymore. So he'll be going on the backburner for now. Beanie (Cassius Lestrange) if you want to rerequest him I'll understand <3
As for the others, who do you want to have around still? I feel very overwhelmed and directionless with all of my characters, so opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Depression sucks and you need to do what feels good for you <3 Since you've requested opinions, however, I would love for Alice to stay about. I have Gryffingroup connections with her (Milo & Alcyone) and I generally just enjoy her. Plus, she is your only student. But again, you need to do what feels good for you. <3

I am very flexible depending on what you want!! I would love to have more Melody/Ben threads and maybe try to get them on better footing before the baby comes but if you're not vibing with her muse we could figure something out that's more of a long-term exit (since them just not talking to each other isn't sustainable after the end of the pregnancy :P) - just skype me and we can talk options if you're not feeling her <3
I'll always be able to give you Greengrass things to do with Verity but I know she's somewhat of a difficult muse for you - if you'd rather drop her and focus on other people I wouldn't be offended, but would probably put an ad up for her to keep their family plot rolling
If Jo ever comes back I'll be all about awkward squish threads but I understand she'll be gone for a while at least <3
Basically I'm here for Emma threads whenever you want them with whoever you want, but I don't want you to feel pressured to keep going with a muse you're not interested in just for my sake <333 I can make anything work! <33

I have been in the abyss of depression for the past few months, myself. I totally get it. I do not have any specific requests, but I would like to know some details regarding the Jo plot. Is she gone? Did she check in with her fam after the blizzard? If not, they probably think she's dead. If you wanna let that be a plot at some point, let me know

Thank you! We should plot Alice/Alycone and/or Alice/Milo! I'd like to know what their dynamics are

I will skype you re:NCE probably tomorrow. I definitely want to keep Mel, just need to work stuff out.
I'm so reluctant to drop Verity because I love her, so I'm going to poke around and try and get a solid plot for her. If nothing pans out then I might reassess. As for fam stuff, I'm definitely down for that, I would just need more than a fluffy premise? I guess? No threads for the sake of threads haha.
Jo might return eventually? Idk, more on that below.

My headcanon is she is on a bender and has not spoken to her family or friends. She may or may not be in England? Leaning closer towards not. Her family would likely assume she left when the ship she was meant to be on eventually left port, so I don't think they'd think she was dead. Since she isn't responding to letters and whatnot though, that might be an eventual fair assumption.

Frost had a girl around May 23rdish I think it was. I'm flex on the date there. We can chat on skype about that when things quiet down for you <3
