It has been brought to my attention that your youngest son intends to take part in an illegal duel tomorrow.
I plan to do all in my power to deter the other party, however, I am uncertain if success is possible.
Please prevent your son from dueling whatever it takes, I fear he will not be breathing when he is returned to you.
