My dear Evelyn,
It seems difficult to believe that, already, it is February and that, in a few short months, our girls shall make our debut into society. While I know that Ruby leans away from the life of a debutante (for which I cannot fault her, given the hand she has been dealt), I think it important that she partake in the coming out ball that Hogwarts offers annually—a sense of closure that neither of her sisters received.
I am, however, woefully ignorant of the finer details that such participation entails.
It is my ardent hope that you shall take pity on your dear brother and, inasmuch as she will allow, take Ruby under your wing as she enters this new stage of her life. Her life has already been irrevocably altered by the events of the past few years; I should hate for my ineptitude to deprive her of further normalcy.

My dear Evelyn,
You are, my dearest sister, a lifesaver.
I, of course, bow to your superior judgement on modistes, fashion, and the social graces of young ladies. I would urge you to reach out to Ruby directly to finesse the details—I am a doting father, but rather bumbling as a middle-man, I fear. Please assure her that you and she have my utmost confidence when you do.
