Eye of the Hurricane (called 2020) -
Anne Moony - November 25, 2020
So, as I put in absences, 2020 decided to out 2020 itself this month. My job ends Monday instead of the end of January and I’m still looking for work (woohoo, politics). My mom is back out of the hospital, but her continued care and probable move to assisted living has caused a full family war and I will probably have to go to court to assume control of her medical decisions.
So my ability to play and think sort of imploded, but I’m committing to not losing my community and my wish to write again. I want to be better and, while I’m still extremely disappointed that I blew NANO, I want to honor the writing I’ve started.
I’m going to save all my babies and eventually see my two WIPs someday, but for now, I want to get caught up. I will be updating as I figure out where I am, but reply or PM Hermia if I’m missing anything or if you want me to keep/kill anything else.
Thank you for your patience and virtual presence. I’m very fortunate to have you all <3

I am also going through a shitshow so I've been slow on the corn maze front (thankfully Emma is assisting me <3). No need to feel bad about that! Take your time and don't feel any pressure at least with me :P <3

Update!
So I got the job, officially ended my old one last night, and will be starting my new one (officially) tomorrow morning. It will take some time to adjust to the new job, but it looks like stability is finally on the horizon.
I will reach out to people about reviving threads and getting things going and I hope to have a bit of a posting schedule and some dedicated writing time built-in starting tomorrow.
Thank you so much for all of your virtual hugs and cheering. I missed you all so much.
