— Horatio —I quite like letters myself, for I often find it easier to say what I wish to say than it would be in person. Maybe that is cowardly of me but I think it better than saying nothing at all. That is why I find this assignment so interesting. The anonymity of it all makes people bolder. I do not know who you are and nor you. We might have never spoken before and may have never without this assignment.

The school year is going well enough. I will be honest, I cannot wait to graduate but I can't say it is bad. My class load certainly keeps me busy. I'm taking six - astronomy, charms, divination, herbology, potions, and transfiguration. As far as clubs, I used to do more but now I am in Chess, Divination, and French clubs. I enjoy the clubs but sometimes they have to be missed when school picks up.

How busy does your schedule keep you? You mentioned that you still take history of magic. What else do you take? I will admit HoM was one of the classes I was most excited to stop.  I could barely stay awake in that class.
