Family for this lady right here -
Marianne Finch - September 29, 2020
Hey! This is Marianne Finch nee ???? I need your help for that one. She was born in November 1847, she's black and grew up UC or upper MC. I'd like for her natal family to be more traditional and strict, the sort to have arranged her marriage. If not, another idea I have is that she was MC but kiiiinda struggling to explain her opportunism.

I can give you...
A paternal cousin of
Carmelina Cramming? The Warbecks are Welsh, black, and MCHB, but if Carm's dad had an elder brother who was the ~first son his branch could always have been a little stricter/more ambitious than Cedric's side and arranged marriages etc! Or could have been financially struggling, whatever.
(Otherwise I have @"Jemima Farley" but the rest of the extended Farley fam are purist so probably wouldn't have been arranging marriages for their kids to halfbloods.)

Cousin of
Jasper Shacklebolt - or possible elder sibling? The Shacklebolts are PB but She could have married a HB for the class bump?
If you want her UC - she could be one of
Meserimus Valenduris grandchildren - who could be biracial any blood, and even be MC if you wanted.

She could be a sister of
Ace Lukeson's aunt, Brenda Rey. She would be UCMB, and be the older sibling (this would likely mean that they have several other, muggle siblings). History can be fairly open, and we can brainstorm reasons why her parents arranged a marriage for her (Brenda's husband's parents wouldn't have bothered arranging a match because Brenda's husband is a squib).

I went ahead and wrote some history after all, so she's MC and her dad died in uh, 1861ish. Would that work for the Crammings or the Shacklebolts? I also didn't have her arrange marry after all, but her family was still having ties with rich ppl.

I'll do Cramming dad and Shacklebolt mom! Thanks guys! <3
Edwyn Cramming, father (1819-1861)
Kendra Cramming nee Shacklebolt, mother (1827)
I'm also giving her a sister named Suzanne and a brother named Leonard and yes this is a Leonard Cohen reference.

(Lol the surname would be Warbeck rather than Cramming if you wanted to be a blood-related cousin of Carmelina, she was a Warbeck originally
Otherwise Marianne can still just be a distant relative of Carmelina's late husband if you just want the name/less of a connection!)
