Halloween Theme Threads - Ophelia Devine - September 19, 2020

Since I might not get a traditional Halloween due to C-19, I'm looking for some Halloween vibes in my Charming life.

Threads can be set anytime in October but I'd like to start them soonish since I'll probably be slow >>

I want a thread for each of the following characters, either with people they regularly plot/ thread with or someone entirely new! I'm really flexible as long as the scenario is fun. ^^ EDIT: Everyone I wanted to have a thread has one, so if anyone is dying for a Halloween thread any of my characters are fair game. I won't turn down spookiness. :D

Reuben Crouch
J. Alfred Darrow
Juliana Binns
Gideon Ollivander

Potential scenarios:
- two characters get caught in a Muggle area and are outed as witches, & have to deal with the fallout.
- two characters get trapped in a mysterious old castle
- a not particularly friendly ghost appears in their home/ workplace
- someone is cursed for doing a bad deed and must fulfill conditions to lift the curse
- encounter with a vampire or werewolf
- a character finds an enchanted black cat (idk what that means but something to make it a 'familiar' more than just a cat lol)
- a character finds an old grimoire or something with old magic with unpredictable effects
- someone is murdered
- someone has an encounter with one of those obscure magical creatures that lures people to their deaths and the other character saves them
- your ideas here!

I would love Halloween threads. I think my only tribute is probably Zach if we wanted a siblings thread?

This scenario with either of these pairings sounds incredible to me xD do you have a preference? Idk if Alfred and Caroline will have met by then but the idea of them having a whole misadventure together without Evander knowing makes me giggle. Evander finally introduces them and they're just like "oh, we know each other."

Ahaha, I agree. We can check with MJ on her opinion if they would know each other yet or not?

Evander has absolutely been avoiding making introductions all summer so if you guys want to do that thread please do, it sounds hilarious and set it sooner rather than later, I can push the starter for "awkward group dinner party" so that's set fairly soon afterwards when Evander thinks they still haven't met? xD

I offer Cee or Ellory for Ophelia, unless you want to do a Hogsmeade weekend thread with my students because I ended up with more kids than adults lol.

My idea is that Ophelia and one of my girls is invited to some event hosted by a cannibal and the Shepherd's pie has a real shepherd in it. And then there can be scandal that scars them for life and they deal with it together.

I have no idea where you came up with this idea but I'm super down. xD I think Cee would be a better fit! Ellory being iffy on fashion and a rich pureblood would probably make Ophelia kinda meh on her as a person xD Do you have a date preference? Maybe later in October so we can do a DP article about it or something?
