Happy April Fools Day From Witch Weekly -
Ophelia Devine - April 1, 2018
Hi Friends!
A few special things about the magazine this week:
— there are four potential covers, and different ones will appear to different people. The enchantment is
supposed to show them the cover/headline that the character would be most incensed by, but failing that you might just get a random one.
— most of the stories are bullshit, but that's not really anything
unique to this issue.
— single characters not already mentioned in the
Couples We'd Like To See article will find themselves featured in the last spot, alongside a truly odorous individual. Pick a character or make up a terrible NPC as you so desire.
— there is no buried treasure in Padmore Park, but that shouldn't stop your characters from digging around to look. Likewise, there is no Honeyduke's special or exploding dresses, but please visit
Quincey Honeyduke to pester him and/or begin you raucous protests at the House of Lytton regardless.
— there may or may not be a chest
somewhere in Padmore Park, but if you find it, it doesn't have treasure in it. Probably a note that says "April Fools!" along with something less awesome. Be creative.
— in addition to the advertisements scattered throughout the issue, there are a few "samples" in the mag. Think like modern magazines with those perfume flaps. With the help of magic, you can try out a health or beauty product instantly by pressing your finger to the spot, however the results are
entirely unpredictable. It might turn your hair green, give you a mustache, make you smell like a skunk, or make you go crosseyed. Or it might work as advertised. You never know.
Feel free to use this thread to plan or pimp out your April Fools inspired threads!

A small protest outside House of Lytton goes up in flames. Literally. You could be the genius who tried to use a flaming dress as a protest sign, the unfortunate victim who is now covered in fiery cloth, or another bystander about to intervene. Ernest will probably get around to intervening eventually. Right now he's just utterly baffled.
