Ministry Box Raffle - Elladora Black - August 4, 2020

The heads of each Ministry department have clubbed together (and got a bit of funding from the Ministry) to buy out a box for employees. It's a raffle system IC whereby 15 people will win, with two seats available per win, however you can pass your spare or indeed both your tickets onto anyone you see fit.

Names in the ballot are:
  • Experimental Charms: Ewart Fraser, Anthea Selwyn
  • Research: Priam Lestrange, Willard Pryce
  • DMLE: Finnian Byrne, Enoch Rosier, Benedict Sterling, Gerald Abbott, Christopher Moony, Fallon Abernathy, Adam Ragge, Julius Scrimgeour, Evander Darrow, Freddie Prewett
  • Accidents & Catastrophies: Zelda Fisk, Myles Warrington, Jesse Hatchitt, James Montgomery
  • Magical Creature: Elinor Goyle, Eugene Scamander, Kentigern MacFusty, Alexander Echelon
  • International Magical Cooperation: William Pendergast, Bragi Holm
  • Games & Sports: Tybalt Kirke
  • Mysteries: Marlena Scamander, Tiberius Lestrange, Emilia Moony, Petra Sleptova, Claudius Lestrange
  • Education: Ace Lukeson

Anyone already in another box as of when I posted this I have crossed out on the basis that IC they can request to have their names taken out of contention. Anyone who doesn't want their character to enter let me know and you too can be crossed out to narrow the field for the others! or if you're characters an asshole they can have their ticket and not use it - SO THERE SPORTS FANS

Winners will be announced this Sunday 9th August to give everyone chance to thread about the ongoing match!

They do not work for a specific department so there's no HoD or AHoD to put their names forward. Sorry, we don't care for people who are the wrong kind of poor in the VE and life is unfair xD

Sorry, I'm a bit confused... these people are the (ooc) options and there will be 1 winner per department? Or it's a group of random winners?

Did these employees put their own names in or get nominated by their superiors? Tiberius wouldn't do the former but Ernest, who is equally disdainful of sports, would def nominate Tiberius just to annoy him. Not that he's petty or anything but haha yeah he's petty af

Sorry if it's unclear!

The HoD and/or AH can put forward their employees for the ballot. If the employee doesn't want to be in - either because they hate Quidditch or are in another box already - they can request OOC to be taken out. That's pretty much it.

For IC realism people can opt to stay in the ballot even if they have another seat and either pass those tickets along to others, or just not use them to be an arse.

And there can be winners from anywhere, the above was literally just to make sure I got everyone.

And the winners are...

Each winner gets 2 tickets for the Ministry box, which is one of the mid-tier boxes, and all food and drink is included. Your bosses have even throw in a few bottles of champagne, bottled beer and a commemorative program to take home. Enjoy!

For clarification - you can give away your tickets if you choose. This is mostly an exercise to give people an excuse to thread with characters they might otherwise never meet so pick your +1 and meet someone new!
