'Cause every night I lie in bed
The brightest colors fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake
I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make
Narcissus could not help but be nervous when the new day dawned that first Summer Saturday. He had wanted to invite Clue over straight away, anticipation boiling in his system. But he had been understanding of the fact that Clue had to settle into his apprenticeship first and waited for the weekend. It was now Saturday and the hour that should have Clue arriving was drawing nearer.
Narcissus had obviously not been in the position of having a.. paramour .. over so obviously he was at a bit of a loss as to what he should do. In the end, he treated it as if he were having a friend of the platonic sort over only he took a lot more care than he would have if that were the case.
When the door knocker sounded, Narcissus barely beat the surprised maid to it. "You came!" He said, as if he had expected Clue to back out and not come at all.

Clue had never felt like this before; and "this" was a concept with many levels. He'd never had a friend before Narci. Someone who wanted him here, or invited him there; someone who inspired him to step beyond his comfort zone (Pumpkin Regatta anyone?) and broaden his horizons. Someone to think about. Someone to occupy his waking consciousness. But most of all, someone he wanted to greet not simply with a customary hello, but with a step forward, a swift lessening of the distance between them, and a kiss that lasted days. As Clue followed Narcissus's directions through the winding streets of Bartonburg, it was all he could think about.
For Narci wasn't just his friend, and he wasn't just his first ever friend. He was so much more.
And then, after a light knock on the door; there he was. Tall and trim, his hair wavy in the sunlight, and hazel eyes upon him. Upon Clue. The younger lad looked back at him as if he hadn't laid eyes on him in years, but of course his fantasy greeting could not come to fruition. Narcissus had warned him, after all, of the public dangers behind their feelings. And speaking of behind, there was a surprised-looking lady just behind the handsome part-Veela, though of course Clue's eyes could not linger on her for long, whoever she was. Not when his attention was so focussed elsewhere.
They might as well have been alone in the world for all the care that Narcissus briefly took of the world around him. From the way they looked at one another, you would have thought that they were years long seperated friends instead of having just seen each other barely a week ago. He stepped back and indicated for the other boy to come in.
"Come on in," Narcissus said, leading the way to where he had set up their refreshment for the afternoon. He was also keenly aware that they would finally have privacy as the maid finally went off to go about her duties. He closed the door behind the both of them. "Are you thirsty or hungry?" He asked, indicating the cakes, sandwiches and drinks that was set for them.

It was funny; when he'd first entered the Valenduris house, he'd seen nothing but his grand surroundings. Now, as he entered the Laurent house, he saw nothing but his host. But he supposed he had to blink away eventually, and so he did so, gazing at the tea table laid out in the drawing room. "No, I'm not hu— is that chocolate cake?"
He immediately changed his mind about not being hungry. Quite disinclined and ignorant of social etiquette, Clue extended a finger to steal a corner of vanilla chocolate icing, and licked it from his fingertip. It was very tasty.
"Who was that?" he added, nodding at the door through which the maid had vanished.
"Yes, it is," Narcissus said, his lips twitching into a smile when Clue asked if that was chocolate cake. Of course, Narcissus had little care that Clue wasn't showing a shred of social etiquette. It was not like this was a fancy party or the like - just the both of them.
It felt almost strange to be alone with Clue without the bustle of other students around them or the frequent hangers-on that seemed to gravitate around Narcissus. But it was very welcome since true privacy with Clue was what he had been craving since the first kiss shared between them.
"The maid, Esther. She is unlikely to bother us. We have the place to ourselves for the most part," he said as he began walking towards Clue.

The maid — of course. Clue had known Narci kept a maid, and after a week at Valenduris's you'd have thought Clue was used to being around servants by now. But he still wasn't. For back at the foster home, the maids gave orders, not the other way around. A girl would be sweeping the floor one moment and whacking Clue around the head the next, for some imagined crime.
Maids were very different in this world.
But anyway, such differences were the last thing on Clue's mind as Narci looked at him and approached, his hazel eyes full of light and wanting. The younger Slytherin stood where he was, letting him close the gap between them, and met him by resting his hands gently on the half-Veela's hard chest. Clue looked up at him, searching for confirmation that they sought the same thing.
Within the privacy of his own home, the doors to his parlor closed off to even the staff roaming other parts of the residence, Narcissus felt free to do as he wished. He smiled down at Clue as the younger Slytherin rested his hands against his chest. As Clue looked up at him almost expectantly, Narcissus leaned in to kiss him. A hand reached up to cup the side of the boys face as he allowed them both to simply indulge, rather than the hurried, careful kisses they had shared at Hogwarts.

Clue stood on his tip-toes to meet the kiss with some urgency (for he'd been thinking about this all week), but once their lips touched he succumbed to the calmness evident in Narci's movement. He wrapped his slender arms loosely around the young man's neck and melted into the moment.
For it was true... no urgency was needed here. There were no Slytherin boys about to burst into the dormitory, no Housemates lurking in the common room. No prefects patrolling the corridors, no librarian peeking into nooks and crannies. No bullies, no professors, no lawkeepers, no strangers, no parents... only them.
With Clues arms around his neck, Narci lowered his arms to wrap around the other boys waist and pull him up close. Narcissus didn't have much experience kissing and he knew Clue didn't either so he was simply going along with what felt right. And having Clue held close in his arms was the most amazing form of 'feeling right' that he had ever felt. No matter what society and the actual laws of the country said.

He had to suppress a little shudder of pleasure as Narcissus drew him closer, and Clue felt he'd grown wings as his heart soared. But he felt something else too, beyond the lucid fascination of lust — a sort of satisfied possessiveness, similar to what he'd felt that day by the lake.
As their kiss deepened, Clue felt a wall behind him, for it seemed he'd drawn Narci in closer while taking a step back to find some sense of stability. To the strange Slytherin, it was as if their bodies couldn't be close enough.
Narcissus was vaguely aware that Clue was now sandwiched between himself and the wall. He could feel it against his hands. He didn't care though and only used it to his advantage as he pressed in closer. He just wanted to keep kissing Clue until the moment came when they needed to breathe. Which of course it did for they were both mere mortals so he pulled back slightly but not by much. "I've been wanting to do that since the first time," he murmured softly before kissing Clue once more.

With their breath deepening to a lustful cadence, Clue felt a different, more profound kind of atmosphere to the one when they'd first touched this way in the dormitory. His pale, slender fingers ran through Narci's silken hair as they kissed, and then slid down to his chest, enjoying the feeling of hard muscle there. Narcissus was tall and athletic and masculine; Clue was a platinum slip of gossamer cloud. Everyone wanted to kiss Narcissus...
But Clue?
It was this question that made his way to his lips between kisses. For Clue was a strange boy and he said strange things.
Narcissus found himself loving the feel of Clue's fingers running through his hair. He was lost in this entirely since he was finally able to just do and feel without worries. He let himself take in the feel of lips against his own, the feel of dainty hand on his chest.
"Because you're strange," he teased gently, pulling back and tucking a strand of hair behind Clues ear. "You're just different from everyone else in a good way. You don't care what anyone thinks of you. And you make me feel.. incredible.. in a way I can't quite explain."

Clue folded his hands behind the small of his own back, against the wall, and blinked up at Narcissus. He loved the feel of him and the look of him, the sound of his voice... he wanted their intense physical moment to continue without delay... but he was also intrigued by what the older boy said. "I'm also different in a bad way", Clue observed curiously.
"What bad ways?" Narcissus asked curiously, unable to resist leaning in and pressing soft kisses along Clue's jawline as he waited for the other boy to answer his question. He wanted to know everything there was that Clue was willing to share with him.
Clue didn't answer right away, for the feeling of Narci kissing his way along his slender jaw made him feel as if he was on a sunlit cloud without a worry in the world.
But eventually he remembered he had not answered, and so did so in a murmur. "Sometimes I want power", the young alchemist confessed, his fingers toying with his classmate's collar, teasing his shirt button. "Sometimes I want revenge." For Clue had been twisted into his current state after a childhood of abuse.
