Cbox Direct Link - Ophelia Devine - June 7, 2020

My phone only loads the corner cbox like 60% of the time lately which makes it much harder to lurk. We used to have the link to the full- page cbox in our header (like on Charming 1.0) but now I can't find it. Does it live somewhere on the site?

Depending on your window size, it should have a button that says "chat" if it doesn't have the full window—that opens the cbox, or at least it should! (Ursula Black?)

Yes, I have that! The problem is that when it opens, it only shows me a white box and doesn't load chats. 99% sure this is a Lynn's phone problem and not a cbox/Charming problem because it does work most of the time.

I can find it from my desktop but that clearly doesn't help me if I'm trying to circumvent phone-not-loading-cbox problems xD It was a clickable icon on our last site and I didn't know if we had it stashed somewhere here.

It should definitely be a clickable button link on small screens called 'cbox' instead of 'chat'. If I'm understanding properly you've got that and it's when you click on it that you get a blank page? I think it has to be an issue caused by your phone or your phone browser - I use google chrome on my phone and the only time I've had issues is when the cbox itself is glitching out. The only things I can think of suggesting are rebooting your phone, installing browser updates if there are any waiting, and changing phone browser but that may be a real pain in the ass. Deleting cookies/cache would also be a suggestion but I'm never sure how to go about that properly on a phone.

I didn't even notice that it toggled between cbox and chat - when I click the Cbox link from the index, it does take me to the page I want. :)

The 'chat' button that I get when viewing any page other than the index is what brings up the non-loading white box. I can skype you a screenshot just so you know what I'm talking about, but since I know where the cbox link is now, fixing it isn't really a priority xD

I totally forgot that the index doesn't work like other pages on the phone. The index page is programmed to always render with desktop proportions (for usability reasons) which is why the cbox pops up. I wanted to stop it doing that because I thought it was stupid and pretty much unusable but I couldn't without removing it everywhere xD
