Rekindling the Flame of the Lord - Blythe Fairchild - May 5, 2020

2nd June, 1890

Miss Lestrange,

I hope that settling well at home, and that this past May was rather less taxing than last year. I remember too well the anxiety of O.W.L.s and rather imagine the conclusion of sixth year as a welcome, leisurely stroll by comparison! You must, of course, tell me all about this year's coming out—I had suggested attending to my aunt, but her response was less than enthusiastic.

Though I hope it would be of little trouble for us to meet soon face to face, I write to explicitly invite you to church at Hogsmeade Hall on the seventeenth—that is, if you do not find your curiosity has faded since we last spoke. Mr. Stratford will be leading the service this month, and he is a dear old fellow (not at all as intimidating as some!); I always leave his sermons feeling something of a lightness and enhanced notion of possibility.

I hope ardently I hear from you soon, though please do not hesitate to let me know if I am being a nuisance.

Sincerely,
Blythe Fairchild
