A Solution? - Marcus Lytton - April 15, 2020

This is charmed so to anyone but Lena it looks like a promotional Lytton pamphlet.

Miss Cadden,

How I you? I hope that you are well.

I have talked with a female friend who I can trust and she tells me that pregnancies are really fragile in their beginnings. A severe cold could cause for the baby to perish. So I was thinking, you could drink a potion which makes the person severely sick? There is a high chance that it could fix your problem and you would be treated for the sickness before it can cause you any serious harm.

Yours,
M. Lytton

— Mr. Lytton —
I am doing okay, thank you for asking. No one had guessed yet, and that it's all that matters.

I apologize for the delay in your response. I needed time to think. It seems silly that something so common as a cold ar some kind of sickness could do. But, that seems doable. Surprisingly easy. Almost to easy. Please don't be offended that I'm hesitanta to believe your friend. I have nothing I can do to compare that to so I must take their word.

I was decent in potions, given a recipe, I should be able to brew something just fine. I'll look into potions books at the book store. Thank you.

I'll let you know how it works.

Lena has just written this on the back of Marcus's letter as she does not know the spell he used. That will be something else she would be looking into.

Miss Cadden,

I am glad that you are well.

I confess that my friend brought up some more drastic measures but I thought that it would be best to use the "easier" routes before you truly endanger yourself. The sad truth is that there are solutions that could put your life at risk, too.

Tell me, though, isn't there a possibility that your family could cover it up? Perhaps have the child sent to a distant relative, or an orphanage?
