Appearance: Gareth stands at a modest 4 foot 6 inches, though his curly nest of hair often gives him an extra inch.  His sandy hair continues to grow darker with each passing year, no doubt progressing to be like his father's once he's grown.  His blue eyes match his mother's, as well as his winning smile.  He dresses like most working class boys his age, but his mother ensures that he is presentable.  Gareth is right handed.

History:
1880: Gareth is born the only child of Poppy Timmons, the result of a teenage tryst that, unfortunately, got his mother expelled from Hogwarts.  His sperm donor, William Abbot, was never outed, and Poppy took it upon herself to raise him with the help of "Nurse."

1880-1885: Gareth has a very pleasant early childhood, blissfully unaware he's missing anything by having a father.  His mother and "Nurse's" family are enough for him.

1895:  He shows his first burst of accidental magic.  He stops a shelf of books from toppling over at his mother's new place of work, Gibson's Books.  While he generally likes Gordon, he doesn't quite understand why he can't look at some of the books in the shop.

1885-1890: Gareth's childhood continues to be a happy one.  He is old enough to help his mother and Mr. Gibson with small errands, which he does very proudly.  He has quite a few muggle and magical friends he visits around London.  His mother's side job is a strange one, but he doesn't ask questions.

1890: Him and his mother have a tense encounter with one of her former classmates.  It's been gnawing at him ever since, but he doesn't think he should address it.  He's been trying to make things seem normal, so that, perhaps, all can be swept under the rug.  He continues to run errands and do odd jobs for the locals, while also gaining a slight interest in quidditch since there's much talk about the World Cup.
Personality: Somewhat quiet, observant, quick on his feet, occasionally sassy with those he knows best, kind, protective, smart
Other: Gareth has a scraggly mutt that he rescued off the street about a year ago after a few children had chased it down an alley and began attacking it.  He scattered the children with an incident of accidental magic.  The two are now inseparable.  Her name is Molly.
