Chuddleys and Chumps - Jack Cardew - April 10, 2020

Dear Miss Gallivan,
Thank you very much for your kind words and for your good faith in my skills. I am only sorry to have let the canons down by not securing a first string position for us. However, at least we can also count on some of the other teams having lost their better players, hopefully improving our chances for the championship.

For myself, I cannot begrudge my competitors, and now new team mates, for their skills, they were better on the day.

thank you again for your kind words.

Kind Regards
Mister J. Cardew

Cecily Gallivan

Mr. Cardew,

You have nothing to apologize for. You have proved your talent all these years you have been playing and you still made the team in some capacity. Some players didn't even make it on the second string. Besides, it is important to have a skilled second string as well and we all know that chasers are the most frequently outed players during a game.

Miss Cardew,
Thank you, it is appreciated. Now that the the quidditch try outs are over emphasis can turn to more important matters. Mister Gallivans birthday! I am sure you have the matter well in hand, but if the team, or I can assist in any capacity please let me know. We would be only too happy to help you, and a ladys guidence on appropriate celebrations for a gentleman would be appreciated on our part, before one of our more raucous members has a bright idea for an evenings entertainment that ends up leading Mister Gallivan astray.

Kind Regards
Mister J. Cardew

Mr. Cardew,

I actually have an idea! A surprise birthday party, at the Cannons' pitch. I believe that the weather will be decent enough for us to host something like a garden party, otherwise we could use magic to block any rain, of course. I intend to tell Theodore nothing. I'll tell him that there is some emergency and that we need to get there immediately and when we do get there, he will be surprised by all his friends!

I was planning on sending out invitations in the next few days but since you brought it up, I had to tell you now! And you may of course consider yourself invited.

Yours,
Cecily Gallivan

Ms. Gallivan,
Sounds perfect. If you let me know what you need I can get it done! On the night I can send him a patronus summoning him to the stadium. I still have keys to the stadium from your fathers time so I can be there to let people in in secret if thats required.
While I don't suggest that I'm much of a party planner but I can open doors and keep secrets. If plans would be better made in person plesae let me know.

Talk Soon
Jack
