Time Shenanigans - Ophelia Devine - February 28, 2020

Hi folks!

I want to coordinate some time shenanigans - either through weird-timey-stuff happening day of or sudden surprise retcons.

I'm particularly interested in new threads for Alfred and Emrys but retcons with sufficient juiciness would be considered for all... and the only one of mine who's actually off the table for timey-wimey threads is Ben since he's busy being emotional in France.

What do you guys have going on? Does anyone want to toss ideas around to do some light plotting?

My retcons:

Will has a ministry job I haven't yet figured out.
Jo at the minimum woke up with a dog and tattoos.
Debating changing a few Maggie details.
And none for Melody.

Bella is going to wake up missing another finger because just one missing finger is not enough and I could use it in threads down the line.

I may or may not have Archie wake up to find he's not on the quidditch team, since that was something I always assumed he was pressured into and it could have gone either way.

Toying with the idea of Handsome returning from work to discover their Hogsmeade home is empty (only to find out his family apparently lives in their old Irvingly home). Staying in Hogsmeade after grandma's death was a do-or-don't decision that he made, and because it doesn't really change much I don't think it would qualify as a "big thing".

Opinions welcome!

Decided that Alfred gets a slightly different relationship with someone. Open to anyone he doesn't already have a lot of established things with (ie not Pablo or Zelda most likely).

I want to have a thread where photographs change (to include or exclude a certain person) in front of someone's eyes. Any ideas there?

I might make Charles unsell his haunted house and he wakes up in it and it's a real life nightmare featuring his ghost wife. Whom someone should play.
I have ideas for others but I can't fully access them rn because I am tired.

Hawke and I are retconning that Papa Adlard died last January. Percy inherited the house and moved back in.

Percy is probably renting his home to Rufus and Fortuna Bixby as of last Jan.

I may do something with Galina and Mari but havent quite decided yet.

If anyone has an idea for Asha I'd love for a funny like wtf retcon for him because why not?

I think that's all I have at the moment though. Let me know if you have ideas for my peeps or things you have always shared to establish that we never got to. I'm game.

Once I get out a few other owed posts, I'm going to make an open thread of Archer Belby's sudden pet vulture that has mysteriously replaced his clumsy owl.

I think I want to do something with Billie, but I'm not sure what, yet.  Same with Thomas.

I might have those terrible, leaking books return to Whizzhard's to plague Zachariah's life.

I'm using this thread to inform the Degenerates Gang:

I retconed Christobal buying a house in 1883. All this time, he lived in Irvingly with his parents, wife and son, but he was a shit husband and would stay with some prostitute girlfriend for a week, or something. Around 1887-1889ish he rented a house, but in the beginning of 1890 he had to move back in with his parents because he couldn't afford rent. Now, his mother has kicked him out because he left the house for some days once more.

In my head, the Degenerates don't know that he ever had a house. Only Christobal "remembers" this version of his life. I enjoy the idea of them being like "lol of course you managed to buy a house!" but they don't truly believe it.

For now, Vivienne has taken him in, but I'd like for him to cyrcle through all their houses.
