WW: Valentine's Day Ball - Holly Scrimgeour - February 1, 2020
There is an upcoming Valentine's Day Ball, and considering its proximity to the February 16th edition of Witch Weekly, it only makes sense to cover the shenanigans. I know that, like most events that happen close to publication time, there's little chance that I'll have a plethora of completed threads to reference, so I'm asking that anyone who plans to thread there (and wants to be included!) lets me know here.
You can:
- Leave a link to an ongoing thread, if you have one.
- Leave a description of what you think is going to happen/what outsiders might see (e.g. "Finnian Byrne and Annabelle Bones were seen whispering by the punch table! I don't think that's the first time they've been seen alone together...". You know, "heard around town"-style gossip.
- Names of your attendees and whether or not they'll be with anyone specific so it can be mentioned.
- Your spinsters or 40+ bachelors who are attending for ~speculation~ purposes.
- Anything you want to happen but can't be bothered to thread out.

@"Naomi Hertz" will be there with her fiancé, happily chatting about a few of the few details they have so far about the wedding, cause love is in the air and Naomi can't help but feel a little excited.
Gerald Abbott will be there, and I will post an open for hurling, so maybe it will get some momentum in time for the WW article?

If anyone is stalking the fallout of this and either came late or just can't juggle five threads in their head at once, here's the timeline:
Boys Like You - September 1889. Melody complains about getting "married off" come January, Ben promises to come up with "some solution" tbd.
Come to my Window - January 1890. Ben gives Melody a potion that makes the drinker highly apt to follow suggestions, intending her to use it on her future husband and make life less miserable.
